I am a straight female and I could not fancy James if you paid me. I'd go for Austin before James even though I know there is absolutely no chance of Austin being interested.

James just comes across as one of those 'desperate for fame' people that is so over-aware of his 'good looks' that he does not realise that he is a turn off for most women.

Am sure a few gays will fancy him because he is definitely good looking but no woman in her .right mind would be the least bit interested in such a desperado.

Exactly. I have 2 gay brothers and quite a few gay friends. They think he's so fit. Not one of my straight friends (female) fancies him at all. Too desperate to be considered 'hot'.

Err no, think you missed my point. He is desperately trying to win over gays and females. Yes, he is good looking. I don't care what you say but gay men are more drawn to good looking men than straight females are. Some straight females are all about the looks but in general we like something else as well, like maybe a personality. Gay males are in general more interested in a quickie with no interest in personality. These are generalisations on my part and he is playing up to them - he thinks all he has to do is be friends with a gay bloke and look good and he has both the gay following and the straight female following. We are all a lot deeper than that but it's reality TV - lowest common denominator.

I bet you any money he'll be more of a hit with gay blokes than straight females.

Im male and straight and dont watch the show but i would determine from this thread that girls fancy gays and gay guys fancy straight guys

It's slightly dodgy territory but - flip it - I'll say it anyway. A great many of those who post on BB related forums are (it appears) either female or male and gay. Not that we don't have straight males; we have a few - but I think they're very much in the minority. To an extent, I think the BB demographic is also more women and gay men than straight men.

Now, I think James appeals VERY much to young girls/women. That voice, however, would turn off anyone over the age of 25. His mannerisms, his girliness, his vanity, his desperation and his - let's be honest here - flat out dumbness render him more or less devoid of sexual appeal to any mature straight woman.
