This would be interesting to know.

I guess they don't as most work with the same set of actors most of the time.

Example- Letitia Dean may not know a Nitin Ganatra as Sharon & Masood have never shared a scene.

I can't recall them ever sharing scenes. Letitia is very private in real life and rarely attends award shows.

Obviously they've all interacted together, a few of them went to school together and trained together for example. And most of them are close with each other off set as well. And I doubt Sharon and Masood have gone without three years without sharing a scene.

Even if they don't share scenes, they would often be at the studios on the same day. Much the same as when you work in a place with lots of different departments, you still come in to contact with staff from other departments.

Possibly in the cafe or the Vic. They might not have shared dialogue but they shared a scene at least and I don't know what quite Vaslav meant.

Some of them socialise together. Mimi Keene was at Jac Jossas baby shower along with the rest of her close friends.

My mum listened to an interview with Shane Ritchie just before he and Jesse took their break, and he said that there were times he was off the set, going to his dressing room, and he'd walk by people who were current cast members and he'd never met them or spoken to them, even though they'd been on the show for ages, because there were so many characters now and they never really interacted outside of their own groups/on-screen families.

In my workplace there's not that many people that work there and while I know most people by name there are quite a few who I have never had an in depth conversation with.

The thing is, people seem to have the conception that everyone in show business is great mates. But just because you work with someone day in/day out it doesn't have to mean you are best buddies.

think one of the older actors said the same and I know they have said it about emmerdale, that sometimes you don't really see the actors/actresses unless you have scenes with them. I guess it must be espcially hard on eastenders due to the block filming so they will have the actors split in two each filming a block.

though they all have green rooms and lunch times etc to catch up with others if they wanted to

It must be really weird if 2 actors have barely spoken to each other before and they suddenly have a scene together e.g. when Shabnam and Stacey first met since Kat's house was burned down or NuBobby and Lucy in the flashback reveal (Hetti only realised he was the killer earlier that day so I'm assuming that's when she met Eliot)

I suppose it depends on the actor and their back ground. Like obviously everybody will know Adam as he's probably one of the first things that comes into your head when Eastenders is mentioned. And Danny Dyer, who was pretty well known before Eastenders. However some of the younger cast might not be acknowleged
