For continuity purposes I feel we should track the state of Ian's hair.

Long flecks next week

Short in the trailer

This is the official #BealeHairWatch

CS' Steve has the same hair trajectory

Yes - Ashley's is going crazy at the moment but does he trim as often as Steve and Ian?

I will keep tabs on how long for Ashley.

Even if we saw Ian with his hair cut then back to being long again in the next scene it still wouldn't be the biggest continuity error this year. That award goes to Kevin Webster musing that he couldn't possibly imagine what it would be like to lose a child.

It tickled me that he got a haircut just before

Spoiler

You'd think that would be the last thing on his mind.

I happened to catch a bit of Emmerdale this week and was amazed at how messy Wshleys hair had become. Hope they sort it out

Probably to try and make him look younger than Kathy.

I remember when in some scenes Ian had a stye and not in others, which was actually interesting since the scenes were recorded in a weird way (he had a stye in one episode and after it went, it came back like three episodes later).

I'm assuming that Ian will have the haircut in Monday's episode since he talks to Dot with his normal hair and he has short hair before leaving Walford when he writes a letter to Jane. I'm assuming Bobby will be angry about suddenly leaving Walford as shown in the short clip in the trailer.

I wonder which part of his anatomy will be under scrutiny next.

He fascinates me. Although he is bordering on looking like Jim Davison.

Edit - Don't worry 0..0 I won't be musing further down than his neck.

Where does his character go after he discovers his Mum is alive? More importantly, how will his hair cope?

Yes, I think Ashley's hair needs a thread of its own! What is actually happening with it?!

Ian looks much better with very short hair like a grade 2. Don't like the floppy look. Wish Paul would follow suit

Bernice on Emmerdale had immaculate hair at the beginning of last week then she suddenly had about two inches of roots! It really bugged me. It's such bad continuity. I do appreciate though that she's played by a very busy actress starting work at 5am and probably has little time to herself when she's working but even so if you're in a soap I think things like your roots should be done regularly. Regularly as in so that they're not noticeable...

EDIT The character is a beautician so should look immaculate all the time.

More EDIT At the beginning of the week her hair was also shorter so along with an inch and a half or so of roots suddenly, her hair was also suddenly longer in the space of a week.

Ian Beale has a dodgy eye? I must have missed that. What's wrong with his eye?

It'll probably turn completely white before our eyes.
