TV with good viewing angles
I am looking for a new TV for our bedroom. It will be between 32-40". Maximum budget is £450.
I am not interested in 3d / 4k. Not too bothered by smart functions or the quality of the inbuilt tuner either as using a FOXSat HDR piping Freesat / iplayer and a blu ray player. What are important are picture quality (HD and SD) with wide viewing angles as it will be fixed to a wall. In terms of viewing I watch mainly movies and sport so it also needs a decent refresh rate to handle motion. Input lag not an issue as only a casual gamer. On investigation it appears that the Sony 705/6 has poor viewing angles as does the latest samsungs (j5500, h6400) and some Panny sets. Can anybody recommend a set based on personnel experience? |

Look at TVs from LG I think they use IPS which are better for angles but have less contrast & worse blacks though these should be fine if the room is not very dark.
