I enjoyed the opening show even though it often felt over-produced and trying too hard.
I wish ITT had a weekly slot to follow the training sessions but Strictly will only feel like Strictly for me when the real dancing starts in three weeks time and we can judge live performances.
It was all a bit too airbrushed last night!

) But Tess didn't annoy me - I think maybe the first season of being without Brucie stressed her out - she seemed quite at ease. I love her warmth, even if she is a bit shallow - there's Claudia to make up for that flaw. Great team I say and a nice counterbalance to the 3/1 male-to-female judge ratio but I'm still angry at them for dumping Arlene (maybe I'm the only one

He's apparently still on the road with "Puttin' on the Ritz" and I assume Robin and Anya will join Trent and wife Gordana. I also feel sorry for Joanne and in some of her Twitter pix, I think her eyes betray her real feelings (i.e., let down.) Rumor was they had to make an emergency call to get Jason Gilkison back on set to save the disaster that was Scott/Joanne, so I think it may have been worse than what we thought. Guess we'll see if she gets another chance next year - but why bring on a new girl at all if they were sure they wanted to keep Jo as a celebbed pro?
