Is there any reason for this?

We can't assume only because it's VTS for CBB because even on C4 when it was always VTE, the males went in CBB first but never went first in BB.

16 series of regular BB, 16 women evicted.
16 series of CBB, 6 of the first evictees have been males (Chris, Goldie, Andrew, Evander, David, Daniel), however the last 4 males were evicted in a VTS, Chris and Goldie are the only 2 males to ever have been evicted in a VTE first (CBB1, CBB2)

You say we can't assume it's VTE, but VTS, but it's usually a young female who isn't afraid to speak her mind and is pretty entertaining, that goes out first on BB, due to VTE.

VTS is so much better than VTE anyway. VTS gets rid of boring HM's and keeps in the controversial ones that are good to watch. VTE means if you're opiniated and controversial, you're a goner, and if you're a HM, that barely does anything, you're almost garantueed a place in the final.

Females still in the majority of first evictees on CBB though. As for why BB steadfastly refuses ever to vote out a female first is one of lifes great mysterys !

deana bb13 had the chance to nominate 3 boys on the first night and change all this but she didn't. how annoying!!!

Partly it's because the fanbase factor comes into play with CBB.

My hunch is that if Alec Baldwin had been in the house and behaved exactly the same with the same edit he would not have gone first.

so many promising females have been voted out first....Bonnie, Scary Mary, Stephanie.....and my all time favourite housemate Tashie Jackson.

Wonder if a male will ever leave normal BB first?
