1. I love Carol Kirkwood, what a joy she is I hope her and Pasha can go reasonably far.

2. Jay did seem quite quiet - but I think it's just down to nerves. Who knows, maybe he'll turn out like Mark Ramprakash?

3. Caroline was absolutely terrible! Just goes to show how much training it takes to stay at the top (mind you, I don't remember Abby & Aljaz's Waltz in last year's launch being that bad?)

4. Peter Andre is so cringey - there is such thing as overdancing He will put in the effort though, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

5. Right now my favourite couples are Carol & Pasha, Kirsty & Brendan, Jeremy & Karen and Helen & Aljaz.

My five thoughts.

1 The three new pros are hot!.
2 Very happy with the pairing apart from Natalie's
3 Very happy we have a first black pro.
4 Very happy with the celebs this year, probably the best ever.
5 Jamelia is my fav to win.

1. Still a bit annoyed we've lost Iveta and Trent, but I'm happy with the newbies (I just need to see them choreograph something now)
2. Gutted Jamelia and Brendan didn't end up together, they were made for each other (especially after him blanking Sunetra for most of last year - if you really want a contender, Brendan, how about this!)
3. My top 6 are Helen, Jamelia, Katie, Ainsley, Anthony and Daniel (based on personality/potential for entertainment)
4. Darcey, I know you need a niche like the other judges, but does it have to be 'mmmm BOYZ'/'listen to the boy pros'/'the boys are right' all the time?
5. Peter's giving me Jason Donovan mark 2 in that he's going to dominate but also bore the life out of me - thank god they didn't make Tess do jokes - Ainsley and Natalie could be glorious, I really want him to be good - I hope Anton lets Katie speak at some point - Iwan and Ola are off to such a great start, aren't they? - only just realised Anthony Ogogo's rather attractive, isn't he?

2. Not overly happy that Tristan has been lumbered with Jamelia (she could have been my first boot otherwise)

1. Claudia Winkleman makes me smile. Quirky, amusing and quite frankly brilliant.
2. Deeply disappointed with all the pairings bar one.
A combination of the dull, grey, strange and cynical imo.
3. Already the analysis of every reaction by every celeb and pro to everything has begun. Tedious in the extreme.
4. Could this year see the first two time winning pro finally emerge at long last?

1. Burst out laughing when the Soviet Strumpet got O'Donnell - Cohen can breathe a sigh of relief - she won't be running off with this one!

2. As much as I love Pasha I'm glad he got a duffer.

3. Iwan Thomas has the sparkling personality of an amoeba - bit like Ola's last partner.

4. Dreary Bussell continues her blatant favouritism to the male celebrities.

5. Can't stand 'Antony Ogogo' and I feel sorry for the poor new girl who's paired with him.

Carol is very likeable but looks like she will be a terrible dancer.
I was surprised by how much I liked Jamelia. She looked great in the group dance.

1. Liking the celebs and feel sorry for thinking Jeremy might be the first exit.

1. I liked Jamelia more than I was expecting, but judging by Tristan's reaction he doesn't - he looked much happier getting Jennifer last year.
2. Not sure if Gleb 'gets' British humour.
3. Has Giovanni been watching Youtube videos of Vincent? Is he normally like that or have the producers asked him to be Vincent Mk.2?
4. Ainsley looked pretty good - I don't think Natalie has got too bad a deal.
5. Caroline hasn't got any better since last year, still don't understand how she won.

Even though Pasha got a duffer this time round I don't think he'll leave first. He is a very popular pro with a very big fan base and Carol is a very likeable lady, although she can't dance to save her life lol. 😂

I like them both but I just have this feeling they'll be the second elimination

Carol is very popular too, so with Pasha's fan base they're bound to be around for a while. I can see her being OK with Ballroom, but I think her Latin could be slow!

Am expecting Jeremy to leave first, him and Daniel to me are like a rabbit caught in the headlights. 😬😲

Off Topic Just to point out that Gregory Porter wears that stupid woolly hat for a reason,he's had major surgery on his skin,I think from burns sustained in an accident.

#1 = Ainsley and Anita are my favourites but I do like Georgia, Jeremy, Carol, Iwan, Jameelia (ok so probably all of them)

#2 = Janette is my favourite pro but I'm definitely not going to like Peter (like Frankie last year) Hopefully we have another surprise winner

#3 = Aliona finally looked pleased with her partner and I hope Jay calms down and starts enjoying it (I didn't even recognise him) On the other hand, Kristina didn't look impressed and Daniel won't be a latin lover.

#4 = Kevin's starting to grow on me and the new pros are great, and Pasha is hot

#5 = When Anthony said they were gonna have so much fun, Oti didn't look so amused.

Sneaky #6 = I was intrigued by Gregory's hat

EDIT: And now I understand

1) Is it becoming traditional for the reigning champion to be given someone whom they are unlikely to win with? Aliaz got Alison Hammond last year, this year Pasha has Carol...

2) Do the judges HAVE to dance on every week? It's all a bit over the top. I preferred it when they were just announced as "Please welcome our judges, Craig, Darcey, Len and Bruno.". That's all that needs to be said.

3) Anthony and Oti are already my favourite couple.

4) Joke delivery and improvisation really aren't Tess' strong points.

5) Kevin Clifton is so smug- I hope he's out first, that would take him down a peg.

One of the best rules about this show is the judges kicks out the last two couples on dance off, Not the silly public.

1) Peter Andre looked good. Let's hope he doesn't mention his kids every week.
2) Tristan's gorgeous, but can't warm to Jamelia
3) Kirsty and Brendan remind me of Lisa and Brendan, so maybe Bacofoil showdance mark 2 could be on the cards...
4) Gleb and Giovanni are easy on the eye.
5) I'm worried about Anthony's arm - he's only got three weeks to get it working...

1) I think this could be the most competitive series to date, all of the celebs show at least some potential.
2) my preconceived idea of Jamelia melted away when I actually saw her, she comes across a lot better and seems to have a brilliant sense of humour plus she's got the moves so it will be nice to see what Tristan can do FINALLY with a talented celebrity
3) I was wincing for poor Jay at how nervous he was, calling it now I think he will be the winner and overcome all the nervousness
4) Oti is lovely but i'm not so keen on the new boys who seem to have the biggest ego's going, time will tell
5) I'm happy Anton has a partner with some decent ability but I hope it wont hinder Katie's chances in the Latin as it looks like she can really move

1 Really happy they got Jess Glynne - that song was perfect for the group dance!
2 Jamelia is such a character and looks to have potential. Very likely for the final i think.

4 The lineup does look like it lacks star quality but there's a lot of personality.

1. It was overall a great show - its got me excited about the show anyway despite the lineup, to me, being very mediocre on paper so it did the job!

2. My dislike of Darcey is going to keep growing, really not happy that she is expressing her desire for a male winner. She's so going to be overmarking the 'hot' men to try and get the result she wants.

3. Giovanni gives me the creeps - could he love himself any more?

4. Oti is amazing, I love her already!

5. Most of the pairings surprised me, a few stand out but some seem really random. It'll all seem right as the series progresses I expect.
