Her profanity is more bearable because it isn't every other word. And it seems so ill thought out.
And in this case she was just being a bit provocative
She's just very keen to keep a profile.

This is my first experience of her and I'm just not seeing Janice's appeal atm.

You see I don't see that as being admirable whatsoever. The woman has no filter and blurts out, usually with a mouthful of profanaties whatever comes inot in mind. Age is no excuse to "say it as it is". I 'm with you, I'm finding her act deeply annoying. She's an irritant of the higest order, attention seeking is not likeable in a toddler, let alone a 60+ woman.
