I couldn't say for sure. It's in situations such as this that somebody sometimes asks what their motive is to defend BB and prove that they aren't manipulating public favour (Not you of course). But whatever their motive might be it doesn't undermine the fact that they've swept this under the carpet anyway.

Even if you only took the part where Scoop was on his detective trail, it was significant enough to not be ignored by the editing. Especially when compared to bits in the HL show which weren't as important.
Thanks Alrightmate. I've had little time this week and just caught up on all the HL shows. Now time to catch up on the LFs I've recorded too.

I saw the live feed too but I don't really see how that adds much clarity towards making Jenna and Farrah's behaviour and reactions rational. I thought they were completely over the top and ridiculous regarding James and Austin's use of Farrah's wardrobe and touching Janice's wardrobe. Those 2 are so self entitled and so for ever on the look out at being badly treated in some way it's sickening and horrifying in equal measure.

Janice summed it up for me at the end by saying Jenna and Farrah's behaviour horrified her and she wanted to hang with the Brits. By the way she nominated Baldwin and yet Jenna trusts her Also Janice was the one that was very upset about her clothes being touched and yet somehow she managed to weather the Brits using Baldwin's wardrobe without having the kind of breakdowns Jenna and Farrah did.

If I'm honest, I can't stand the way Farrah and Jenna have treated Janice at times. But then again I've seen pure care from those both to her. Janice is just the ultimate drama queen and will always go her way.....and I think both Farrah and Jenna know that now. As do most of the Brits.

If anyone on this show is causing drama, it's Austin and James.............always needing airtime all the bloody time. And who do they go against? .........................Farrah, Jenna and Janice? Even though they 'NEVER' start it in the first place.

It's ridiculous OP.
Even on BOTS they were saying they were confused as what it was all about.
The producers butchered what actually happened last night by leaving the James & Austin 'clothesgate' incident out to protect the chosen ones that the whole thing made no sense.
It's a joke!!!

I made a thread about it here -
WTF Where Was Clothesgate?

Exactly. It's background trouble. You can be sure Austin will be the good go-between causing all sorts and raising more hell with 'dumb' Farrah for more airtime.

To make sense of the scene in the bedroom we don't need to know what James and Austin may have done earlier on. But it made no sense because those two Americans are completely cuckoo.

As opposed to the rest of the cast?

We're all scratching our heads trying to make sense of this. Maybe the editors can't even make sense of it because none of it makes sense even with all the footage. Those two Americans are completely cuckoo.
That crossed my mind too. I wondered if perhaps the editors couldn't find any footage that clearly showed where the argument came from in order to create a HL show friendly précis of it.

But isn't it strange that they didn't show the beginning of the argument...
On the clip online Natasha is telling Jenner not to rise to him to let him drive a nail into his coffin, yet they left it out of the HL show and started the scene with a voice over saying the producers version of what happened instead of just showing us (probably cause it had something to do with the earlier clothes incident with James & Austin that the producers made magically disappear from tonight's HL's )

I thought the producers must be having a joke at our expense - hey, they wanted live feed, let them try and figure out what last night's live feed was all about, we aren't going to help them out by putting the explanation on the highlight show. They can have their live feed and lump it, but we aren't helping them at all

Only the last 10 mins I lost the plot from about half way through.

I think it boils down to nominating Americans erm Jenna, Farrah and Baldwin is wrong and unacceptable according to erm Jenna and her side kick Farrah. They were giving the house Hell because they had dared to nominate them and as they couldn't really give the British Public Hell for evicting Daniel they turned on their weak team member Austin and gave him a good kicking instead.
This is what it was made to look like due to the editing botch job. Jenner was pissed at Austin before Daniel was evicted.
According to live feed Jenner clocked Austin bitching about Farrah during the eviction, and then he tried to bring Natasha into it.
When confronted about it Austin said 'yes, me and Natasha were talking about Farrah'... To which Natasha was angry & said he is a liar, it was him sh*t stirring about Farrah she didn't say anything. Which Gail later backed up when they (Jenner, Farrah, Gail & Natasha) were talking about it in the kitchen.
His comment about Daniel leaving wasn't even mentioned on live feed when Jenner & Farrah were bringing their issues about & then to Austin himself in the garden.
This is why they were calling him disloyal & a sneak... yet they didn't show it so the post eviction living room scene & the follow up bedroom scene seemed like they were having a go at him over just his comment when Daniel left.

Like I said it's a sham!! The vast majority will always see Farrah & Jenner as the baddies & Austin & James as the handsome hero's so they don't need to play funny buggers with the editing to the extent they did with tonight's show.
It's just odd and unnecessary.
Especially when they then show a clip on tonight's BOTS of Scoop saying to James the next morning "You acted like a damn fool last night".... It just leaves the viewers thinking WTF is Scoop talking about?
The show is run by absolute amateurs lol.

Farrah once again came out and got involved, made a complete embarrassment of herself. She was utterly pathetic and laughable, giving everyone a lesson in how to be human garbage.

Farrah is the most disgusting person I've ever seen on a TV show in my life. She makes me want to vomit.

The oddest thing is that on tonight's BOTS they were showing clips that referred to what they edited out of what really happened last night.
Those motherf*ckers are trolling us

Maybe it's because James and Austin didn't do what they were accused of doing. However, the scene that we're talking about left out something that we KNOW happened because it's on one of the clips. This was Farrah kicking off with Bobby because he placed his microphone in her space while he changed his clothes. So, we could argue that the scenes were edited to make Farrah not look as nasty as she actually was.

Well then why didn't they seize the opportunity and show it to prove the evil Farrah, Jenner & Janice wrong then
And by collateral damage make a HL show that actually made sense instead of the mess we saw last night!!!

Are you serious
The way it was shown tonight (without the backstory you are complaining was left out) was that Jenner & Farrah just attacked a poor uninviting Bobby out of the blue... for maximum sympathy for Bobby & maximum hate for Farrah & Jenner.
The online clip shows Bobby mocking Jenner's accent after she speaks & other mocking quips (which were edited out of the HL version) & HIM bringing up the microphone thing to Farrah after she tells him to 'get over your ass' IE DROP IT! (drop the silly argument)...
After that clip was posted online earlier showing the things you are complaining were left out people were triumphantly bigging up Bobby for sticking it to Farrah & Jenner as seen on this thread here... 1-0 to Bobby... Bobby owned the vile harpy... etc
The way it was shown tonight was a editing hatchet job to make it look like Bobby was being bullied compared to the online clip... which was already a clearly skewed version of events (as it made no sense & didn't show how it started) to begin with!!!!!!!!!

Yes, this adds a lot to the context.
The way it was actually presented was 100% one-sided.
If it wasn't on the HL show then it may as well have never happened.

I don't think it's an editing botch job though, I think it's very deliberate.
It just doesn't make sense that they could leave this out by being unaware of it.

They were all moving clothes after Daniel's clothes had been removed which had freed up space. I think Jenna thought it was a bit insensitive seeing as Daniel hadn't long left.
It's not like he had died,

She is just annoyed that an American left. She and Farrah taking the whole USA vGB a bit seriously.
The two sex performers live in that sort of world where you just scream abuse to communicate, it must be a horrible environment.

I suspect it's difficult to edit between one argument and the next being as they seem to be arguing most of the time
