The thing about male dancers is that most of them are a bit effeminate or camp, even the straight ones, like Artem for instance. I think Gleb is camp but he apparently has two girlfriends, just to prove that he is straight lol

I guess they thought it went with the 50s theme and was cheeky. People have a lower tolerance to this sort of things these days. Personally I did not mind.

i agree with that, and i want to add that the song was called Dear Future Husband, so they were in character, with the song.

I like all the new pros, although do think the Producers are trying way too hard to mould them into types.

I liked Giovanni's routine, and he really went for it, as others have said Georgia was walking compared to the leaping and spinning he was doing, I may have watched it a few times as I love the Jive. I didn't like the skirt bit either, but enjoyed the progression of the routine.

I thought Gleb looked like he found the fawning embarrassing, but hopefully he gets to show some more personality, I think he's gorgeous but as with Jay's nerves don't need reminding of it every link!

Oti is lovely too. Think this will be a good partnership.

well i looked at their Jive closely, and Giovanni was really fast, Georgia was good for a beginner ( she never done the Jive), and towards the end the reason why she nearly fell, was Giovanni's fault for really speeding up the dance.

I hope they will do good in their waltz, he's a good teacher, but he's really good looking.

i very much enjoyed Giovanni and Georgia, but yes its a very fair point about the 'low rent' skirt moment

Gleb has yet to make an impression beyond an initial cuteness, the fawning around him is somewhat offputting so far

I really didn't see the big deal about the skirt lift. Doesn't seem any worse to me than the Frankie/Kevin samba move where he lies down and she ruffles her skirt over him. It's just cheeky choreography, and I think people are being way too sensitive about it,
