When did the injury happen, like did he commit to the show carrying it and if so the producers should have been like "wait til next year",

This interview doesn't paint Gleb (or his wife) in a very flattering light

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...e-know-it.html

It seems he has never had to develop a personality to go with his good looks. He also gives the impression he is doing Strictly as its all that's on offer at the moment, but he thinks the other versions are better.

I like Oti but not warmed to the two guys at all. Their choreography is very heavy handed and at times sleazy. I'd ditch them for the next series.

Opinions on Oti, Gleb, Giovanni

I like Oti and Gleb ... I don't know why but I can't seem to take to Giovanni.

I like all 3 well enough. Not seen much of Glebs personality and I'm sure his lack of English doesn't help, but OK so far...will need more time to judge and I appreciate its hard for all the newbies in their first series.

I have no problem with him mentioning the bigger budget on the Russian version...in fact I like that hes honest. Theres nothing wrong with being honest about the differences in the shows and he did say that Strictly was the best. I'd imagine hes not stuck for a job, he chose to come to Strictly and I didn't get the impression from the interview that hes not happy to be here. I respect people more for being honest, than just gushing about the one they're in and not mentioning anything good about the other shows just to please the public and producers.

I'm not sure there's that much wrong with Gleb's English, I just think he hasn't got much to say (not surprising if his wife does all the talking for him).

I don't think he's stuck for a job, but he has said before that he really wants to go back to DWTS (but they don't seem to want him back) so Strictly seems to be just the next best thing. I agree honesty is a good thing (although with the image he and his wife seem to be pushing I think their honesty is quite selective ) but I must admit I prefer pros who seem a bit more appreciative of the opportunity they've been given. Only my opinion though, I appreciate he will come across completely different to others

To be fair I did see a video (it could have been on ITT, not sure now) where he said UK Strictly was his favourite show out of the ones he'd appeared on (in America, Russia and Australia). Of course he could have just been saying that for whatever reason but I also wouldn't believe anything written in the DM.

Theres nothing wrong with mentioning the good aspects in other shows, hes just being honest - and it doesn't follow that just because he states that Russia spends a lot on props, that hes not appreciative of being on Strictly or that he thinks its second best. Especially as he stated that Strictly IS the best. As I mentioned earlier, its so easy for the pros to claim everything is better on Strictly when they're being interviewed here - to please producers and the public...of course we like to see happy pros that are enthusiastic about being on Strictly. but from what I've seen of him, hes let it be known hes happy and appreciative of being here and I actually prefer someone being honest about other shows.

I wish Anita wasn't partnered with Gleb. He concentrates too much on himself. He always knows where the camera is. Poor Anita.

I think it's an act, he's just embracing the role they are pushing him into.

Giovanni has upped his game with georgia, Gleb and Anita need to look at Team GG as role models.

I always think Anita seems very happy with the partnering. I can't think why

I think Gleb and Anita are doing just fine. She seems to love dancing with him, so no need to feel sorry for her! He probably does need to focus on refinement of the basics, though it seems to me he's made a deliberate choice to emphasise her natural showmanship - we'll see if that pays off.

Giovanni came into this the least experienced (at Reality TV) of the newbies and I think he made a few misjudgements (over dancing in the jive, not enough content etc), but he's learning fast, plus Georgia has some dance background for him to build on. Their QS felt like a breakthrough dance for them and it was great to see Georgia so excited at the scores - she'd been a bit nothing-y for me till now.

Anyway, I think both pros are doing a good job so far.

Missed seeing Oti

I don't think she has anything to worry about - he always showcases her really well, better than many of the pros and they seem to get on well.

I still really like all three new pros. I hope all of them get another year.

Pity they aren't using Oti more on ITT as she seems such s nice 'bubbly' person.

Perhaps she could help Katie and Onton with Latin? Seem to remember Oti saying Anton was very friendly and welcoming when she started.

I'm sorry Oti went out so soon. Not an expert, but she was mesmerising, spinny and fast.
A real asset with a unique style and if she's this good with Anthony who was injured, imagine when she gets a strong celebrity.

I have to admit, not just for his looks, but I've really warmed to Gleb lately him and Anita are one of my favourite couples and he's starting to shine more personality wise.

Giovanni, I still like. I can see him being back next series.

Oti, I love! However, I am a little worried. Maybe like Joanne last year, out early, new pro, maybe forgetful to regular viewers? I'd be gutted if she wasn't back

I wasn't sure about Gleb to start with but now his personality is starting to show I like him, I like his choreo and the obvious yes he's hot.

Giovanni I love him I find him really funny, great dancer teacher and yes again he's hot.

Oti love her gorgeous fun great dancer.

Hope they all return next year.

Giovanni is the best thing since sliced bread, he really is getting the best of georgia big time. We HAVE to bear in mind georgia isn't as aware as some contestants because of her age. She's a lot younger than a good number of contestants, would love it if the PTB could show her more favourably in training and on ITT.

She went to stage school and has been in television for many years. She's also not that young. She should be more aware than some of them there. I don't feel I should have to bear anything in mind.

Bury College isn't a stage school

OK. I thought she had professional stage training. I'm assuming she has some sort of acting training, hasn't she been a professional actor for many years? If anything that's worth more than stage school anyway. To deny she isn't aware of how TV shows work seems silly.

I think she did do a performing arts course at the college, so I'm sure she is aware of it all.

I like Oti but I'm not bothered about the guys. I'd rather have Vincent and Ian back.
