When I see Claudia I think I've accidentally pushed red button

I like her but there's nothing 'main show presenter' about her. Whenever she comes on I feel as if I've accidentally pushed the red button and got onto some additional 'Strictly Extra' feed.

This isn't anything against same-sex presenting teams at all but Claudia really doesn't have the pedigree of fronting shows that are of any scale and it just seems odd that they didn't hire someone knew to host after Bruce left.

It's like when you see Sandi Toksvig on a chat show and you think "I wonder who cancelled at the last minute?" - I can't help but get the impression Claudia is there until whoever it is who's stuck in traffic manages to arrive. It's no disrespect to her but I think she struggles to fill the role as the main presenter, or as one of the main presenters, on such a huge show.

I think Claudia is one of the best things to happen to Strictly. She's funny, warm and quirky - not to mention Tess is so much more natural with her.

I dislike her style intensely. Faux quirkiness, acting like a child, yuk!

One thing I did notice last night is that they were standing the wrong way round! They were Dec and Ant

I agree. Although she's probably a nice person, I hate her presenting style.

I love her presenting style, keeps the show light hearted and fun.

Claudia adds a wonderful irreverence to the show, keeping it light hearted and fun. This is desperately needed with some who seem to take it so seriously.

I LOVE Claudia. She is quirky and different. Just what we need on SCD unlike Tess who is boring and predictable!

Claudia is great at the no.2 job. Way way better than Tess ever was. She's bright and her wacky humour works so well. The weak link is wooden Tess so out of her depth it's painful. The lack of anything between the ears is a problem in spontaneous live entertainment presenting.

Claudia is great. I was finding Bruce a little trying during the last couple of series he was in (even though I do like him) and the show was looking a bit snazzle free.

All the snazzle is back now we have Claudia.

Now all the BBC need to do is sort out the iffy camera work and I'll be content (IT'S A DANCE SHOW! PLEASE CAN WE SEE THIER FEET???????????????)

I wish there was a button you could press to make her vanish.

Probably the worst presenter on television, totally unfunny, bordering on the pathetic.

In your less than humble opinion! Personally, I think she is "probably" one of the best presenters on TV. But then, I accept that my opinion is my own, and others may not agree. You clearly think your opinion is the only one. WRONG!!!!!!

At least I don't feel the need to give my opinion twice in quick succession. I am afraid you are the one who appears to have the difficulty with accepting a different opinion.

No I don't. I just accept my opinion may differ from someone else's. The post I responded to made it quite clear that their opinion was right and anyone who disagreed was wrong. Ooops, sorry, that was your post wasn't it!

Get a life!!! It is a TV show, not World War 3. Sad with a capital S.

Though with 9 in favour vs 4 against (so far) it would appear you are in the minority.

12. Agree with someone who said she's one of the best things to happen to the Main Show.

I think the exact opposite.

I never used to watch strictly but loved it takes two because of Claudia. When she switched to the main show I stopped watching X Factor and started watching strictly.

Tess is pleasant enough but is overshadowed by Claudia at every turn. She's dull as dishwater to be honest and without Claudia the presenting team would be unbearable (as it was before her when it was Tess and Bruce). It's so painfully obvious that everything that comes out of Tess'a mouth is from cards or the auto queue and she wouldn't know a joke of it slapped her in the face. And it's actually cringe worthy watching her try to tell one. Claudia on the other hand is natural, funny, and quick. A great tonic to wooden Tess and her lack of anything that could be considered wit (that sounds awful. I'm sure Tess is a lovely person but as presenters go she's as wooden as a wooden thing).

So I couldn't disagree more. I bloody love Claudia.

I find the "silly props" business slightly tedious, like with the boxing headguard last night. No doubt there will be more in this vein
