Fake fake fake. I stopped watching when she got this gig, which is a pity for me as I loved the show. I try speeding through on catch up but its not the same.

Love Claude.

Having Tess and Claudia presenting Strictly is one of the better decisions made by the producers.

I like her as a presenter, warm and funny.
However, as a woman, I find myself looking way too closely at her maquillage...

(surely Dec's wife isn't responsible for the monstrosity that is Claudes shocking make-up)

She has her own style, you either like it or not. She's not like the old Sir Brucie who could please everyone

Not suited to the main show. Silly hats and the same old lines every week. Tedious, but Tess is marginally better with her around.

What ??? As grossly inaccurate generalisations go, this must be one of the worst!

He certainly didn't please me, and postings on here and elsewhere would suggest that the same goes for many other people.

P.S. Claude is brilliant.

Well Claudia certainly pushes all my buttons!!!!!!!
I wish there was a button you could press to make her vanish.
I wonder if Claudia has a red button?

I dislike her style intensely. Faux quirkiness, acting like a child, yuk!
One wonders how you can tell 'faux' quirkiness from 'real' quirkiness which such stunning accuracy!

As for Claudia she works very well with the more straight laced Tess and is much better at interviewing the pros and contestants post dance.

Another vote in favour of Claudia - I think she's lovely. I like Tess too, tbh and think the show is better with the two of them on it. I always loved Claudia on ITT, and think she's marvellous in Claud-City interviewing the celebs.

You're right, she's a bit "Marmite". I love Claudia. Her sense of humour is right up my street.

As for Bruce - he certainly didn't please me.

Or it could be, just could be. A joke.

Claudia treats this entertaining show, exactly how it should be taken, not at all seriously.

She was brilliant in the first two years of ITT, until she was told to turn it down and stop taking the P*** out of it, (that was obvious, as she changed "over season".

Probably the worst presenter on television, totally unfunny, bordering on the pathetic.

I 100% agree, my sky+ will do a great job by using the FF button.., I won't have to listen to a single ditzy word she says. Last year it worked a treat on Mrs Winkle. Imo Eve Pollard have a lot to answer for. I wouldn't let the pretend giddy/funny-peculiar one present dinner to my dog.....

Sir Bruce more than pleased me he made Strictly Come Dancing, Claudia I much prefer in a supporting role.

I love Claudia , but I don't think she could consistently carry the main show on her own . Maybe once or twice if Tess is off, but her style is more suited to being a wing man I think .
Not that Tess is better as such , but she has a bit more gravitas when needed .
They go well together .

Tess is more dignitas than gravitas. That's what you get for working so long with Bruce.

What exactly are you suggesting by the use of that word.

To be fair I daresay it was an unfortunate play on gravitas .
Don't worry about it .

Completely agree. I missed her when Zoe took over ITT, so was thrilled when she started working in partnership with Tess. Plus Tess is much more relaxed now she doesn't have to worry about Bruce. It's great seeing how well they work together and well done to the BBC for not insisting on a male presenter to replace Bruce.

Not sure what to say about your use of the word 'dignitas'. Care to elaborate?

I agree with this

But since Strictly is one off the feminist led shows and its main producers are women. It ain't gonna happen...
