Very, very underrated dance imo. I still get goosebumps when I watch it. Her gorgeous yellow dress, the setting, the mood, their expressions, the music, Scott surprising everybody. ........Arghhhhhhhh !!!!

A little bit of Kirsty and Brendan's waltz, seems to have improved from first steps video anyway

Don't have much hope for Katie and Anton's jive. I rewatched his last jive with Laila and he looked awful.

Don't write her out yet! Looked fairly promising from the First Steps video. Perhaps this is the year that Anton really focuses and brushes up on his Latin, since Katie is clearly an able and willing student for once!

Anton is most definitely able and willing Nina.

We have only 3 CCC's confirmed, so think that at least 3 other celebs are also dancing it. And if Jeremy has the Jive, then it could well be that the rest have either CCC or Waltz.

My guess would be:

Anita - Waltz (50/50)
Georgia - CCC (as mentioned, probably a fast dance)
Helen - CCC (her training outfit seems to suggest a latin dance)
Iwan - Waltz (keeping it "easy", a latin dance in 3 days training would be disaster)

Obviously, either (or even both) Helen or (and) Georgia could have the Jive if it's indeed a latin dance, but if it turns out that we already have 3 Jives (including Jeremy's) then I think that we will not have any further.

Yeah, you were right. It never looked like a waltz, but it didn't look like a very typical tango either! . Still they were first steps and hopefully will improve. I like Ainsley (and Natalie) and so want them to do well.

Jay seems really nice and looks as if he has potential, but he's very slouchy, like a lot of men his age. Really don't want that in Latin (or Ballroom). I'm sure Aliona (who, is an good dancer although I don't much like her personality) will get him into shape.

I saw that on Twitter, that is an enormous transformation from the First Steps video. She's looking much more like a contender now!

Just to pass the time, here's what we know about the week 2 dances:

Ainsley & Natalie - latin
Anthony & Oti - ballroom
Carol & Pasha - ballroom
Daniel & Kristina - latin
Jamelia & Tristan - possibly latin as we think she's doing a ballroom first?
Jay & Aliona - ballroom
Jeremy & Karen - ballroom if he is indeed doing Jive first
Katie & Anton - ballroom
Kellie & Kevin - latin
Kirsty & Brendan - latin
Peter & Janette - ballroom

I'm expecting the week 2 dances this year to be roughly the same as last year, give or take - Cha-Cha-Cha, Charleston and Salsa for latin, with American Smooth, Foxtrot, Tango and Waltz for the ballroom. It is also important to note that the week 2 dance is done in the dance-off even if the week 1 dance scored higher, which could be quite important this year looking at the order some people have.

I thought Peter Andre was cha cha cha ? His video didn't look waltzy/ballroom .
