Judging by the outfits Helen and Aljaz are wearing in this interview (which I presume is on the Strictly set? Are they already having a run-through of the first two shows?), I would say that they're probably doing the Waltz.

Georgia & Giovanni training clip is up - they have the Jive. Looking at the week 1 Jives of the last two years that *may* mean Jeremy doesn't have it after all.

I would say that's during the Strictly photoshoot for the Radio Times (they always have one for all the couples in the week of the first live show) and not indicative of what they're dancing.

To be honest when I heard 'balls of feet' I thought Waltz.

As for Georgia's clip, a bit surprised to see her so tired (reminds me of the Kellie clip, but there is 15 years between them). Perhaps her fitness level is not quite up there yet. And yes, it's obvious what Giovanni is after

Based on the choreography we saw in her First Steps video, why do I get the feeling that Georgia will be the one to get the 'Dear Future Husband' Jive that we all know will appear at some point this series?

Georgia and Giovanni look like they're going to be very very good. I'm not taking to him at all yet, but it's very early days.

I'm slowly warming to him. I don't find him attractive but I think he is quite cheeky and I like that. I do have trouble understanding him though

Based on what we know for definite, I'm going to guess at the undeclared dances being:
Anita & Gleb - Cha-Cha-Cha
Helen & Aljaz - Tango
Iwan & Ola - Cha-Cha-Cha
Jeremy & Karen - Cha-Cha-Cha

That would leave the overall split of dances the same as 2014 (and also I think the dances split the same gender-wise), which was the same as 2013 except with a third jive instead of a waltz.

Georgia looks good and think she and Giovanni make a handsome couple. I wasn't sure about him on the launch programme but he seems warmer in the video and to have a good partnership with Georgia. Their jive routine looks like it will be cheeky, which I like.

Am I crazy or did Aljaz say that it was too heavy on the right side of their bed so they need somebody else to add on the left (and he was talking about Peter?)

Gotta say the English as 2nd language people add a lot of fun to the show (I misses you, Iveta!)

Kirsty really did look miles better than that first shaky little clip. I've probably wasted my virtual bet on her being first out but it seemed cruel to pile on to poor Jeremy. This already feels like a group that will have a very high standard.

It's quite unusual for a Strictly cast in that there's no obvious duffer - even Jeremy and Carol could do a half-decent ballroom given the chance.

I wonder if it's a reaction to last year (where there were five people with an average score of below 20, more than any other series).

That surprises me - last year looked like the most promising ever, but then again, we had 5 who were pretty awful and then another 5 or so who were just average really.

I still feel for poor Kirsty Elsa.

Why? And I promise I'm not being testy - I'm just curious. She has the 2nd best known of the male pros - and the one who isn't clearly a joke (sorry Anton! I love you but I do think a fair number of people think that)

When I first saw Kirsty's first training I thought she was unco-ordinated as hell - but on second look at a longer clip, she was much improved (though I still thought I detected a bit of a let-down in Brendan's voice) It'll be interesting to see how everyone looks - I'm really curious now, especially about a few and Kirsty's one of them.

Iwan seemed twitchy, said he had ADD, and then took off for the Orient for some reason I've never quite understood - will Gleb come out of his shell? - why does Jamelia seem so incredibly sweet to me and yet I keep hearing otherwise? - will Peter be even more needy/showy than Mark? (I've been a bit appalled ever since Monkseal pointed out that Peter shoved Carol out of his eye-line to the camera backstage with Claudia!) Can Jay conquer his nerves? Will Daniel really outstay more talented ones as some are predicting? - etc...

I quite like Kirsty but I can't help but feel sorry for her though, everyone that has met Anton in real life always speaks about him in glowing terms just as I and many others see him, he is very popular and well liked in real life it may surprise you to learn.
