I hope Carol gets better dresses than the thing she had on the launch night. She has a much better body shape than that blue dress suggested.

Looking ahead to Week 2, the Radio Times has the Sat show starting at 6.20 and finishing at 8.25. Sun results are 7.15 until 8.00.

Am I going a bit soft, or did I see some Salsa/Cha-Cha-Cha-esque steps in Jamelia's part of the 2nd First Steps video? It'd rule out Charleston or Jive, unless it was just basic training.

Anthony, Iwan, Carol, Helen and Daniels song choices couldn't be more clichéd.

At least the majority of them haven't been used before.

I don't like Ainsley's song, mostly because a) I worry about him being forced into the comedy angle when he could actually be OK and b) it was used for one of Miss Funnity Fun Fun's dances near the end of the series when she'd become absolutely unbearable. All else fine.

Some good songs in there, some not so, some very cliched. At least they didn't roll out It's Raining Men again for Carol.
