Chris Hollins was a footballer. For some reason the non sports partners of Ola's seem to be somewhat forgettable.

Given what a media ho Mr. Jordan is I'd say if anybody is disappointed for not dancing with Andre it would be him I think Ola will do good with Iwan Thomas, sportsmen are competitive and if there is a bit of a dancing talent dormant somewhere in him Ola will find it.

He has not been helping her on twitter last night, making obvious digs at both Jamelia and Kristina (yes, we do it on here also, but we don't have a partner on the show).

I think he is still in total shock about being booted.

For all we know, Ola and Iwan could have been asked to pose looking mean and moody for their photo. We won't find out how they really get on for some time to come.

He's the only celeb I took a dislike to so for me it's a perfect pairing as I don't like her either.

If they'd been with other people it would be 2 couples I get irritated with, this way I can go and make a cup of tea/nip to the loo while their bit is on and no harm done

Who knows. I wish folks wouldn't try and read too much into the crappola that is printed. Same could be said for the VT's. They are scripted by producers but so many fall for it. I get more irritated by agenda they push than by the celebrities themselves most of the time.

Ola has known both Peter and Iwan for years - she has said that she has been nagging Iwan for years to do it, and he has refused to unless he got her as a partner!

Judging by both their reactions to the pairing I'd say it's clear that they know each other pretty well - not many celebs have thrown their partners around like that on first meeting.

Whether we like Ola or not (and I do like both Ola and James) - it's pretty clear from the pre show comments each year that she's the pro dancer most of the male celebs want to dance with, so she ain't going anywhere soon!

His remarks were a bit off .Not horrible by any means tho and it's boring if someone just keeps saying "I like him/her" endlessly .

I saw that too - it was horrible. I don't actually care about Kristina's private life, she is a talented dancer and a good teacher so she deserves to be there!

As for Ola - yes its probably a bit wrong to assume the tabloid reports are true, but equally wrong to say "she isn't like that its all lies" when presumably none of you know the woman? I maintain that on last night's show she looked like a child who had been given a pair of socks for Christmas after hinting all year that she wanted some Frozen dolls.

Ola did seem a bit off last night . I put it down to her being a bit nervous at hitting the show after breaking her leg recently . She might be a bit apprehensive about the intense training . I'm sure she is more than pleased with Iwan , but she'll need to rein in his exuberance a bit . As someone said "He's a bit Tiggerish" (love that ) .

It wasn't meant as an insult btw, I really like Ola. I have natural resting bitchface myself but am actually quite a cheerful person. Just the way the face falls when relaxed and not making a conscious effort to smile.

What has James being saying about Kristina?

If anything I would say that Ola would've been a bit put out by Iwan flinging her around rather than being paired with him. He's a sportsman and they generally like getting those because of the fitness and work ethic. If, as said, she's known him for a while then I can't imagine she's too upset, possible just a bit miffed that night at his daftness because he could have injured her.

Don't know if this story has been embellished but it was very evident to me on my first viewing that Ola was this year's Aliona with Iwan cast as Greg. Her disappointment was written all over her face as Tess made the announcement whilst Iwan's twirling Ola all over the shop only served to make things worse. Their closing snippet was also very telling and showed that there is little love lost between this pair.

Yes. But rumours going back many years suggest that he may be immune to Kristinas charms...

I thought Ola looked happy with the choice. But then, I don't have an agenda (and neither do I give credence to the moronic redtops like the Daily Heil. )

Hardly earth-shattering though, some on here have made similar comments (and some have been much, much worse).
