As has been said, Mark Wright had a huge number of Twitter followers and it didn't help him much.
People do realise that Twitter followers can be bought don't they? Just because someone's account
says they have x million followers doesn't mean that all of them will bother to phone in a vote for a TV programme. Especially if those x million followers aren't actually real.
