I suspect audience share is what matters. As long as it wins its slot everyone at the BBC will be happy.

Everything seems to be down a bit but to be so much higher than XF and twice Dr Who's figures is little to worry about one would think?

Last night's show drew 9.66 million viewers - a 45.7 audience share!
It also hit a 5 minute peak of 10.58 million at 20.00 - this was a 47.2% share!

The Sunday show had ratings of 8.85m - a share of 35.9%.
During the overlap with XFactor, Strictly was top with 9.01m (36.0%) at around 7.45pm, with X Factor bringing in 6.99m (28.0%).

The result's show got an audience of 8.66m (35.8%).
By comparison, the X Factor got 6.47m (27.0%) - which includes the +1 channel figures too.

Last night's show drew in 9.35m viewera, a 45.9% audience share.
It had a peak of 9.9% viewers.
By way of comparison The X-Factor had 5.39m (27.4%) or, if the +1 figures are included, 5.63m (28.6%).
