It Just Made Me Smile
After all the doom and gloom on the news this past week and the shittest year I have had I switched SCD on and it brought a smile to my face
Even though there are dancers, celebs and judges I cannot bare to watch I smiled I dont know if Ive just gotten that low that just a bit of fun and laughter made me feel a bit better or that the comming of SCD means the end of the year is near but last night being lighthearted is was worth paying my licence fee It just made me that little bit happier |

Yes I started smiling the minute it started. Such a fun lively start to the show.
I've kept the smile going today by rewatching the two big pro dances and the group dance - more than once! Going to be a long three week wait for it to start properly. Hope it lifts your spirits and keeps you smiling till Christmas.

Awww, pleased for you slappers, sounds like you needed a bit of fun. I was beaming from ear to ear throughout too and like J.R. will watch the best bits again this afternoon.

I think a lot of the appeal is that it's in the same category as an old fashioned cheerful variety show. With plenty to keep you entertained with no one person dominating the camera as is often the case with contemporary "entertainment."

SCD is the show which has kept me sane in the run up to Christmas. I have just had a big change of career after 41 years so most things on my horizon are more trouble-free than they have been for a long time. SCD last night was like the cherry on top of the icing on the cake!!

Agreed SRU.
It was comforting to see the SCD gang back together again even the dancers I love to hate.

Me too. Can't wait for it to be back properly. The celebrities all seem lovely and fun.
It will be a fantastic series, I think. |

Totally agree. It's wonderful escapism. The second I hear that music I know it's time to melt into the sofa and enter the world of sequins
