I decided that as I've got a Windows Laptop and tablet I might as well include a Lumia,
My main point is thar NOTEPAD isn't include and all my writing notes're on an SD
card.
Can anybody help when I I ask for an alternative?

I suspect that this would be a case for sharing your notepad notes via OneDrive (Microsoft's cloud system) but not something I have much experience of other than automatic backing up photos and app settings from my Lumia.

Upload the notes to OneDrive and download them. They should open in Word or OneNote which are available in the store or already on the phone

Are you on drugs?

OneNote just works. You just have to login with the same account on all devices.

No. just a bit drunk. But when you've a team of eight state of the art warriors doing a DOOM you've got to be a bit technical (eg a very heavily armed and armoured cyborg/robotic dragon versus rocket or grenadr launchers)* so that's why I need the notes

Al I'm saying now is thank Cthulhu for cloud storage!
I've already had one accident with a flash drive (I managed to salvage some stuff)
which involved it accidetallyl being wiped and me losing some of my best, favourite and important stuff bur now I seem to have ost the SD card from my tablet.

Wtf. I can't help. All the apps suggested work for what you need. Take the advice or don't

I've taken the advice but I'm trying to get the hang of synching the notes on all three devices the notes (ones in MS word 2003 and DOC files won't be edited as some of them were done on a Pocket PC).

Woah! When did Pocket PC become part of the mix? No wonder it doesn't work.

My notes've been made on PPCs as TXT files.
I've been using Pocket PCs for years. They might be obsolete and very limited compared to post 2008 smart phones but they still work and believe me, they keep your notes in order.

Cloud storage is alright (when I eventually get the hang of it) but I just want an app (from what I've seen, the apps bombard you with adverts and some of th apps're more advert than functionality) that lets me make/edit them offline.

Open OneNote and login with the same Microsoft account on all devices, it will automatically sync between all your devices.

On your PC, copy and paste your notes from your docs and notepads into OneNote, job done.
