Three make a big song and dance about deals in several countries where you aren't charged for roaming. And it's true, except I can't listen to British radio, not on the BBC radio app, its website or Tunein Radio. They wouldn't have blocked it would they? Would they?

The problem here would appear to be how Three run their feel at home. I believe they run via some sort of VPN which routes back to Threes servers back in the UK. This is potentially how Three manage what you do with data whilst abroad.
A simple test for this is to access the BBC website via your data connection and then via WiFi. You'll soon notice the difference (ads on the BBC site).

Being able to access internet without paying charges does not mean you can get around geographic restrictions - not 3's fault. It is the bbc that are doing the blocking.
Use a VPN and you will be able to access them.

But that wouldn't explain no audio on Tunein Radio or Spotify, either. Also doesn't work with a VPN, either (Zenmate) and BBC radio can anyway be heard the world over.

Now gonna PM you a link with the specific VPN which you need to use in order to do ANY form of streaming whilst in Feel at Home.

yeah tune-in radio should work.
Just looked on web, and it seems 3 throttles streaming services to speed often even lower than old dialup modem speeds. So a decent vpn might be only solution, so 3 cannot detect traffic is from a streaming service.
Just come back from Spain and three do heavily throttle anything but Speed tests and social media, forget Spotify, radio player or tune in, they won't work, general Internet searching does work OK if a little slow, and had no problems with Google maps this time.
Did manage to use the vpn provided by rasseru16 to use some apps which wouldn't work with feel at home and download some music from Google play and was happily listening to xfm on the radio player app whilst driving on the Spanish motorway so all was good, though I found the vpn hand to be placed in full incognito mode and did seem to stop working on occasions for some reason.. But overall worth using..

Glad to hear that jaffboy151, it's also worth playing around with the different country servers on offer with this particular VPN, it would probably be more ideal to connect to a server of the country your actually in unless you still need access to UK specific services such as the BBC.
Also, in Spain the most ideal network would be to use Movistar and select this manually whilst on the move (has the best 3G footprint overall)

Never thought of doing that, I just set it to UK as I thought that's what three would need to have to work. I've no experience in the world of vpn's but need to. Swat up as there is a few pc & smart TV based programs I really could benift from using a vpn with,
