I've been crying for the last 10 minutes. I didn't expect that. I thought it was nice thing to say you want to do it, but to actually go through with it - that shows astonishing character, kindness and compassion. He deserves to win this show already.

I doubt Austin cares what you think. He's rightfully more interested in the opinion of Gail who has actually been living with this illness.

He did it to endear himself to his housemates & to the British public. Part of his game plan.

People are not black and white you know, they can have mixed motives. Besides he was drunk.
He strikes me as pretty vain (not as vain as the women) so I would say it was a sacrifice for him.
