Day 12: Gail is not a morning person

It's 5:28 am and Gail and Natasha can't sleep. Time for a good old chin wag, and some obligatory moaning too. Food is still the big topic of conversation, and the US vs UK divide is very much a factor...

I was surprised that Gail made comment about the Hms personal appearance after telling us how she has been brought to tears with name calling .

I'm really starting to dislike these two with their constant bitchiness, no way in hell would Gail say any of that to the US housemates faces. I also didn't like how she had to get a few digs about the girls' bodies in there, was that really necessary or relevant to the argument? She just sounds extremely bitter.

I would rather have any American that is in that house instead of miserable sour faced Gail. She doesn't like to be judged because of the way she looks but shes got no problem with judging others for the way they look.

Are you kidding? What about Jenna and Farrah - everyone is at it! albeit these two are not as ****ing vile and nasty and dragging personal issues / family into it!

EVERYONE sits and talks about people they have had confrontations with! It is so confined in that house what do you want them to do ? Sit there and break bread and sipping tea and talking about what they have planned for the day? It would be hard not to discuss the ongoing battle of that house!

I think she should man up and at least air her problems with the Americans because I don't want to hear her saying all this for another 3 weeks without actually saying it to them.

Are the public so use to seeing fake, vile and vacuous people in the media, on TV etc they think the others behaviour is normal and therefore don't recognise how genuinely lovely Gail is?

Sorry to have to tell you this but you can only speak for yourself. I don't sit around making snide comments about people's appearances. Discussing conflicts has nothing to do with critiques of a persons appearance.

I think she will, I think she is find her feet / her voice but you need to remember Gail is not string like the rest - she has gone through so much in the last few years. I do question why she went in there - dosh of course but this could affect her badly

you are mixing up what I said. WE don't all anything. I don't sit around making snide remarks about others appearance, their body. If that is how you spend your time, fine. I don't and that means you and rapunzel are wrong. We judge their actions but only a few sink to calling contestants on a game show names. In many cases the people who claim to object to Farrah post worse things than she has said.


Couldn't agree more. I'd like to add that I can't determine if I like or dislike someone from watching them on a heavily edited, heavily manipulated reality tv show. To know if I liked someone or not I would actually have to at the very least MEET them and talk to them in person. So much of this particular show is manipulated one can't really judge the fine points. For instance it was Janice who was in the middle of cubby gate, she was on about it well into LF but one wouldn't know it from watching the HLs.

You would need to be fecking Jesus H Christ not to! Its part of who we are but there is a difference from that and from the nastiness shown by the likes of Farrah / Helen Woods of this world!
