Do you think C5 are taking BB down a dark road ? It has changed so much from the old days which we all know however sometimes it VERY uncomfortable to watch.

I think Helen Wood for me was the turning point when I realised Reality TV is being taken too far. C5 have no boundaries, you only nee to look at their Benefits Britain series (anyone see LIVE WEDDING) to see that. They see everything as cash cows and humiliation is the name of the game.

Have you watched Black Mirror? Or watched the movie Idiocracy (bad movie but interesting in terms of the reality tv segments shown). All very dark with a baying crowd who want blood / fights / humiliation.

I think this is what is slowly happening. We are looking for 'entertainment' in the form of downright nasty, ugly bullying by lowest of the lower class idiots! We put them on a pedestal but then get fired up and knock them down again! C5 have already came out saying Helen indeed was a bad person, so they let her win, put her back on TV again in the next series as a "legendary ex housemate"again but now coming out saying no, they got it wrong, she is indeed bad inside they made a big mistake.

It's very dark! I used to love it, nights in with the girls, live eviction, drinks, nibbles and fun times but now very dark and moody.

The writing was on the wall from the moment C5 got their grotty mits on the show the first move they made was to have the show reclassified as an entertainment show rather than a reality show.
