I love listening to why the American's nominate certain people.

I think they use logic as well as tactics, it's almost as if it doesn't matter to them who they dislike the most, their minds are thinking more about the game...I love it.

They are wasting their time, none of them will win the game.

I disagree.

None of the Brits deserve to win...I think Scoop will win this.

I agree - I love how they are playing the game - it's so refreshing - people will hate them for this and for being ambitious but I love it - this is how big brother should be played in the modern era.

They are doing what the people who are paying them told them to do.

They are following the brief.

Listen to the words they use, this is war. LOL That's probably exactly what a producer told them. It's war you are on this side and they are on that side.

They are playing the game the way it should be played.

He takes it far too seriously

It's a war

We can't nominate James because he will be popular with younger viewers.

They nominate some for being a threat and then others for being weak and non players
If they were smart they would put up the Hms they think could win and come Tuesday one of them would be out . James should have been nominated as he is their biggest threat .

Don't think they're familiar enough with the UK housemates for any tactic to work though. It's a popularity thing, Bobby or Gail will never be voted out against Chris or Chloe/Stevi.

They nominated Gail because she's weak not necessarily a weak player just all around not fit for "war". Bobby agrees FYI.

It's much better than the Brits. It would be 'oh we just haven't got to know each other'

I must say that I found that process of nominations quite fascinating.

Is this what BBUSA is like then?

Maybe so, but they appear to be playing it by the book according to the theme of the series.

That must have come as quite a shock to the British housemates.
The Americans aren't used to how BB works in the UK, but by the same token the Brits won't be familiar with the approach that the Americans are taking.

I found it fascinating too the Americans seem to think they have to work for their fee/the win while some of the Brits sit back, don't care if they win or not just as long as they get their cheque. For some, the earlier they're out the better. I've seen this more and more in recent years and I don't particularly like that kind of HM. I think it's possibly why they've had to go stateside for HMs in recent years.

I agree. We can't deny that the Americans are working for their fee, that's for sure, one way or another. They are putting their all into the process.

It is interesting to see the differences between the two sides, much as I don't like the idea of BB being about teams, it's always about individuals for me. I've never liked them and us scenarios.
