People should remember Chris can say what he wants in threatening to chin the first American c**t he sees when he gets out because of one thing he's British, I would like to see the reaction on here if one of the Americans had said the same thing about a Brit, Oh and of-cause he was joking it was some of the constant banter we have seen from Chris since day one .

I agree, saw nothing funny in his racism/ insightment of violence.
Maybe this is why he has kept quiet, so we don't see what yob he really is. It's all coming out now isn't it.
I'm surprised no one called him on it, but then he was surrounded by Brits.
You'd at least have expected Chloe to go trotting off to Janice to spill it.

Of course he would not have the balls to say it in front of any of the Americans.

How do some of you cope with every day life if you're offended by this? I mean seriously?!

Would Chris have said that in front of Scoop for example? I seriously doubt it. Coward.

It's because he's up for eviction that he's found his voice, shame his one and only comment shown was that one in which he looked violent and xenophobic, but of cause it was a joke a joke for British ears only.

Meet Burnside, although you already met him in the garden. Chris, of course, is the ACTOR that plays him

I've never met anyone pursing an entertainment career who didn't want to make it and that means making it in Europe and America. What I find surprising is how many actually move here and not just from England from Australia as well. But I'm sure there are a few content to just work locally if they can pay the bills with that.

It's his seeming hatred for America and not just the hm's who are American who he doesn't like that indicates there's bitterness there, lots of it. There are loads of British people I don't like but it's far outweighed by the amount I do like. There's probably more American's I don't like than do like but I am exposed to way more American's than any other nationality on the whole.

You know he's going to go and punch the first American he sees? That's pretty sick by my standards. One doesn't take their anger at one person out on some random with the same accent, that's really pathetic, if I gave 2 shits about the guy I'd be disgusted but he's just some random whose full of hate, the world is full of them. (sadly)
Have you met many ?

Exactly, if Big Brother is reading, please play the footage into the house to the americans.
Obviously it will have to be before his eviction tonight.

It's when people don't 'get' when someone's joking that slurs like the OP's title begin.
Just to stress again, HE WAS JOKING!
I like his dry sense of humour, shame that, because it is so dry, it doesn't get shown much.

As I said earlier, it was just banter.

It would be truth if the people criticising what Chris said were actually offended. I suspect that most are not and are just criticising something in the same way that they would criticise anything else in the BB house in general.

You can point something out as a criticism without actually being offended.

Most bigotry and prejudice comes at you in the form of a joke.

Now you see I can recognise your sarcasm easily Shame you don't get Chris, but then I can put that down to you never having watched where he played Burnside, or you'd have known exactly where he was coming from, as most people that know the program do. It's a cultural divide as usual, the Brits on the whole don't take an awful lot too seriously and to calm things down they will take the piss out of one another, whereas it's more in the American psyche to take a lot of things at face value and very seriously. He gets on fine with Austin, he also gets on fine with Janice.

Astounded at some of the most vociferous Helen and/or Marc fans in utter outrage at a man letting off steam by playing up to his famous TV role with some deadpan humour - you just couldn't make it up
