It's a cultural divide as usual, the Brits on the whole don't take an awful lot too seriously and to calm things down they will take the piss out of one another, whereas it's more in the American psyche to take a lot of things at face value and very seriously. He gets on fine with Austin, he also gets on fine with Janice.

Farrah said she was going to kill everyone, and that never got a warning so why should Chris?

OK I get it you're a big Burnside fan I hate to tell you he's not real, Burnside is a caricature played by Christopher Ellison and everything you know or have seen him in has been an act, unless you know Christopher Ellison personally you would not know when he was joking or being serious.

I think BB should alert the Police and recommend they keep surveillance on him as Americans will be at risk when he leaves the BB house.

Oh rubbish. No he didn't want to at all. It was just an off-the-cuff comment, and it was funny. The clue being that people laughed.

It was the first time this series I actually laughed.

Chris was great.

I didn't see it but I can imagine it was in jest, just like Farrah's 'going to kill everyone' quip wasn't meant either. It's wierd because you'd have thought with all the nastiness of the last few series of BB & CBB we'd be desensitised but we are seemingly going in the opposite direction and taking offence to everything. I blame Shilpa Shetty, well not her exactly but that series.

True. It's a shame he didn't share the joke with the whole house so they could all enjoy it. *cough*

I think it would have been funny to say that he'd chin anyone who ever mentions wine to him. But putting it all on the American accent is just playing right into the producers hands and following the script.

Sweet P has a 'knack' of creating topics that descend into the ridiculous very quickly imo...why that is (unlike BB anymore!) YOU decide!

Oh don't bother to ask Sweet P or Eve Elle and others a question, because in my experience you won't get an answer ever (you can try though I guess). So much for a 'discussion forum' rather than a 'just repeat positive things ad infinitum about negative people and ignore the rest' (aka 'propaganda' imvho) forum.

So we aren't allowed to comment on what we think of the HMs' actions or motivations unless we know them personally?!! Best let Digital Spy know that they no longer need to bother run a discussion forum then! And why do you have an account here to even bother talking about why someone is in in a show for celebrities and brings what they are known for as a celebrity to their time on the show

Thanks a lot minxy and I absolutely did not mean folks like yourself Just the 'hear no evil' (in certain cases) lot (very few thankfully) who blindly supported both, and are also often on here defending Farrah, but wanting Chris burned at the stake for this comment (JOKE!). I was of course especially referring to this thread where some 'hardcore' sheer denialists won't even engage in reasoned debate but oh well...

He wouldn't have said it to the aggressive Americans, that's the whole point. He was just letting off steam in a harmless way when away from them. If any of the reasonable ones like Scoop, Baldwin if he was still in there, or Austin had taken him aside and he'd repeated it privately as how he seriously felt just for one moment after their collective nonsense (OFC some more than others) then I have no doubt those guys would have chatted it out, shook hands, and moved on.

Farrah would have threatened to kill everyone again, Jenna would have not listened to a word and stropped off only to kick off again later, Janice would have said she agreed and then gone back and stirred the US contingent.

I'm bloody glad I'm not in there is all I can say!!!

He was just blagging to look good in front of the girls. He'd run a mile if confronted by Scoop or Daniel.

I'm legitimately angry at your attempt to portray me in a negative light (read the T&C's lately have you?). Seems like you have a problem when people don't agree with you or share your opinion. So here's an idea, if you can't handle differring opinions then I would suggest a public discussion forum may not be for you.

You can comment on what you like and I have my account because I want one, and heavens forbid if Jenna was to bring what she is known for to her time on the show, anyway you have taken my comment out of context.

So when Marc was saying the C word to all and sundry and every other word was a swear word, he wasn't being offensive, whereas Chris said it once in jest and it was offensive. Marc was also offensive for wearing boxer shorts all the time, showing his fat arse off. He was offensive for simulating sex as well. In fact he was just offensive.

I know the terms and conditions very well thank you, and always stick by them

Your own inference at my alleged 'attempt' to do anything is your own inference and nothing more than that!

If you can show me where in this thread (just as one of many examples) you have answered a question that has been put to you - with a straight answer to it - I will be very nicely surprised, apologise if I've missed it, and I thank you in advance for setting me straight

If you can't then may I humbly suggest you have mis-conflated the words 'forum' and 'discussion'?

You've got something there as this earlier exchange illustrates.
Talk about putting words in my mouth.

My sentiments too. He was not in the least bit attractive. Why does he have to be brought into a thread about Chris?
