After Deirdre's funeral, Tracy said to Peter she's turned over a new leaf then she's telling Carla that she'll deny everything to the police. She must mean a new toxic leaf.

Carla is a fool for not reporting it herself. She is being treated like a leper.
Tracy will worm her way out of it somehow, but one thing the writers can't get around is that she still needs to serve 12 years before she's paid her dues for killing Charlie. That was premeditated cold blooded murder and it doesn't send out a good message that it is being trivialised. The new and improved 'reformed' Tracy lasted all of five minutes. Her excuses to Carla were a joke, and ranting that she would deny everything typical Tracy. The character hasn't been credible since Dawn Acton played her. Even one of the writers said they wanted a character like EastEnders Janine so decided to make Tracy an all out bitch, something she wasn't before. Even then they missed the point with Janine who grew into what she was over a long period, has layers, and has never committed outright premeditated cold blooded murder. |

True, but Carla got off scot free with the death of Kasia who she seems to have conveniently forgotten about, She also kept quiet about knowing Tony killed Liam as she was worried she may implicate herself. Plus she drink drives, which is utterly indefensible.
She's hardly miss innocent and has completely escaped punishment for all her other crimes. |

Tracy will get away with it. The producer said that although Carla will find out the truth, there will be no way of proving it.
At least she knows now that it wasn't her fault and can finally start to get her life back on track, though! Some people will inevitably still doubt her and believe Tracy, which will be frustrating, but hopefully the people who matter will know better. I'm sure that will matter more to Carla than Tracy being punished. |

She's hardly miss innocent and has completely escaped punishment for all her other crimes. As much as I am fed up with Carla, at least she has remorse for her actions and actually shows it, unlike Tracy who forgets within a week and acts like a complete bitch. I don't buy this crap Tracy is guilty, and if she was she should own up to the fire, but as usual she is saving her own skin. And god knows what Robert sees in her, he is just a prick as well. |
