Is she really that posh, or is this just a character she plays? The way she speaks is similar to Marcus Bentley in the over the top way they pronounce words. She's like a parody of the queen.

I personally think she speaks beautifully. No one can talk with such eloquence unless they were raised this way
I think truth will be revealed if any family member (Mother/Father/Sister) is to be interviewed in person, on phone at eviction night, or maybe BOTS

I agree it's extremely exaggerated, lovely don't get me wrong but it is forced. Like Scott in civilian bb they overemphasise or overcompensate with certain words and look to build on moments that don't need such exaggeration.
But then again we had a hm this year from Yorkshire but went to public school and seemed to develop a similar accent and was taken as posh without public debate.

Her mother was interviewed, I believe, either that time when she was on The Face or that time she was on X-Factor. I don't remember which. Her mother doesn't speak like that at all, as I recall.
There was some excuse given why Chloe did, but it didn't totally make sense. Some business about elocution lessons for drama school. Which makes no sense, because if that were so (if it was for doing drama) they'd also have taught how to turn it on and off.
Her accent in this video was not as 'cut glass' as it is today.. this is her in 2006

there have been several attempts to launch "surrey based" reality tv with low rent actresses doing the "towie / made in chelsea" acts...
reality structured tv really is clever... pay the actresses 10% what a traditional soap star would be paid, and let them make up the difference (and perhaps more) by "living" the story they pretend to play - normally by product placing their name linked with their fashion shop or a mail order nutrient etc business seen on screen and legitimising their "screen" image... so cheap to make and so sad of the gullibility of those watching

I love this girl. She has me in stitches with her black-and-white Hollywood movie style of talking. And her insecure relationship with softie Stevie makes me laugh. I find her very gracious most of the time. I quite like how she argues with people.....she looks very upset, but her retorts are tame, yet strangely enriched by her accent.

Indeed. I had to google her, and listened to a few clips of her voice.
See, if Chloe were horrid, then I'd find that accent utterly grating. But as she's so sweet, so kind, nervy and dippy, and has a very rich voice too.....I can't fault her much.
