Last night I set some recordings on my Panasonic PVR. To try to avoid clashes, I cut one minute from the end time, or added a minute to the start time, of some of them.

A 20:30 - 21:00

B 20:00 - 20:59

C 21:00 - 22:00

D 21:01 - 21:59

E 22:00 - 23:00

Only B and D worked. When I looked later at the list of current and future recordings, A, C and D had been darkened out, and there were large "X"s in the results column, but no details.

I don't know whether it's relevant, but I was watching a previous recording (from a group which would later include programme A) between about 20:15 and 20:45.

Any views? I'm currently recording two programmes finishing at 11am, and two starting at the same time, to see what happens.

Update : of the four programmes pivoting around 11am, one of the 10am programmes recorded, the other three didn't. Which makes me suspect that one of the tuners has gone kerplunk.

I've set three other groups of recordings for today, pivoting around 13:00, 16: 00 and 18:00, with at least 30 minutes gap between each.

I'll wait for the results of those, and if it's clearly a tuner malfunction, I'll give John Lewis a ring - it's still under warranty.
