Her and Trevor were about the only interesting parts of last night's First Look.
But I hope they transition her into a softer character because Kierston Wareing is a talented actress.

Too much of an OTT caricature thus far, I'm not buying into her. Gangster yawn yawn yawn, apart from the odd dodgy deal I'd hoped we'd dismissed most of this nonsense. If Trevor is meant to look worried or terrified he really doesn't. Hair and make up on a par for awfulness with Scott.

It's certainly early days but I didn't find her too bad, I like she sorted her hair out!
Kierston Wareing is a capable actress, I know some might think it a bit low rent going to HO but I hope she better uterlised then EE.

So Trevor and Ashley have a past, just like Trevor and Clare, which was never explored and could have been really good.
Part of me thinks that perhaps BK regrets killing Clare off, so he introduced the 2.0 version with similar storylines.

I am waiting for a random meeting with Reenie McQueen. They could talk about their relationship history and how they seem to have something in common regarding bald ginger blokes in East London

Yes!! That needs to happen, it should be a two hander where Reenie uses her line of what she used to call Max 'A wotsit in a polyester suit'
Kierston looks fantastic and is a brilliant actress, I hope she is used to her full potential.
BK obviously does regret killing off Clare, but I think Ashley is more of a Grace clone. Extremely cliche and over the top character so far, but so was Grace and she is a much warmer character now. Bored of the whole village baddies thing.

I don't think much of the character but its amazing how much better the actress looks as Ashley in hollyoaks compared to Kirsty in Eastenders. quite suprising what difference a good cut and colour does
kirsty looked trampy in EE with awful hair that being said I think she has been much better on hollyoaks and shown what a good actress she is, I think the writing and character she had in EE didnt give her much to work with.
reminds me a bit of grace when she first came in unlikeable and thinking she is a bit gangster, glad she is not going to be a regular

I disagree. Grace was Clare 2.0. Grace was just a Clare replacement.
Ashley is obviously a Trudy replacement, as Daniella Westbrook's contract was terminated they quickly got the character Ashley in instead.
Anyway, I think Grace has something to do with this. I'm pretty sure Grace and Ashley are working to take Trevor down so Grace can get the baby.
I'm really surprised that people are stating that Kierston Wareing is a good actress. I havent seen her in anything before but so far I think she has not been good at all. Poor line delivery and very stiff and flat. She's had some very bad dialogue to deliver so that's not helping

well she has previously won a bafta so she can't be that bad! did you watch her in EE?

She's a fantastic actress! I've seen her in a few things. She looks amazing with her new hairstyle and I love her Hollyoaks make up. She's a stunning woman. Eastenders didn't do much for her, she spent most of her time in bed and was utterly wasted. Plus whoever did her hair in Eastenders should be shot! She definitely takes on the character she's playing and is always different which I like.
I think Ashley will end up in a relationship with Trevor. I like the idea from VIP that maybe her and Grace are working together to bring Trevor down so Grace can get her baby. However if this happens I think Ashley would fall for Trevor and this would complicate matters.
I really don't like her.

No as I stated, I havent seen her in anything before and she has a bafta nomination but I can't see a win. She may be brilliant but I have not seen that on screen in Hollyoaks as yet. I can only go on what I see, and what I have seen so far is not good.

Exactly.
The original post is asking what we think of the character not the actress playing her. Thus far the story line, dialogue and costume/makeup she has been given is pretty dire and I don't think anyone could make a silk purse out of that sow's ear. Yes there is room and time for improvement but I'm not optimistic on how Big Boob is likely to pan out.
