Also Tony Blackburn, every week he describes a song as "fabberlous"!

I think you're missing the point. The OP said

"There is no such word as "ov" in the English language.
Ritchie did it yesterday, Rylon is always doing it!!"

Now, last time I looked, Rylan didn't write out what he says on BOTS. He speaks it. If the OP was ,meaning that people wrote it wrong, wouldn't he have said "of" rather than "ov." I mean, people don't write "ov" they say it. Besides which, what does what people write have to do with Big Brother?

So maybe it's an Americanism that's now becoming the 'norm' over here.

And don't even get me started on the word congraDulations. When did the T change to a D? Drives me mad.”

It's not standard grammar in the US, either. F. Scott Fitzgerald wouldn't be the first author who wrote something ungrammatical in a book.

I always laugh at Tony Blackburn when he introduces Candi Statons top of the pops performance as "Kincredible"

What about those who say "haitch" instead of "aitch" for the letter "H".

Oh god, I thought I was the only one who HATES that 'korter' thing! (I was reminded last night as I think it was the same guy narrating on Return of the Hotel Inspector between CBB and BOTS so this is not quite as off-topic as it might be)

I absolutely loathe it too.

It's become so widespread that I began to wonder if that actually was the correct pronunciation.

This is such an easy one to get right too.

You buy it, you bought it.

You bring it you brought it.

I've always said Handbag correctly. I don't see how it's remotely difficult.

It's pretty easy.

I also say should ov instead should have and I have been known to say miggle instead of middle and bockle instead of bottle. It's an accent thing. Thankfully I couldn't care less if my accent makes people embarrassed or they think I'm dumb. I choose not to judge people over grammar and accents. ”

Those are some strange pronunciations
