About to upgrade from the original 5, do I get the 16 gb 6s or the 64 gb 6, the price is about the same. Has the 16 gb 6s got enough storage to be of any use?

Not in my view. Most people with 16gb phones keep deleting stuff, or have few apps, and all photos in the cloud only.

yeah for phones without an expansion slot, you need more than 16 gig, even if you dont think you need it.

I know people with the 8gb 5c which is painful to do anything with. They're always full. With 16gb as long as you move video off the device and keep only the apps you actually use, its okay. iOS 9 is supposed to be smaller than 8 too.

Worth paying the 79p/month for iCloud space to store photos - shame no decent Windows application to download photos in the cloud.

Watch as people are handed the original first gen iPhone and told it's the new 6S:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfkbxzilVC4

Was quite funny, no idea how they didn't catch on, especially the woman who was holding her iPhone 6 right next to it. Some people will buy the latest iPhone, regardless of what has changed. It makes me cringe for all the iPhone users who actually buy the device after weighing up the pros and cons and making an informed decision.

I like the look of the 6S as your usual "s" upgrade, maybe not worth it coming from a 6 but for sure from a 5s. I do wonder why they still offer a 16GB model, maybe that's something that will disappear come the iPhone 7 and only stayed for the 6s because it's an "s" phone.

Using a Nexus 6 at the moment but the 6S+ is looking mighty fine, also mighty pricey for that 64GB model :/

Also as well to consider those live photos now need extra storage space as well.

Normally your card gets charged when they are ready to dispatch it. Your card will probably have a pre authorisation of a pound or two just to check the card details are valid but the full amount will only be charged on dispatch

An interesting writeup on one of the pre-cursors
http://www.theguardian.com/technolog...-phone-android

So, is the 'just a bit too big' Sony Z2 an 'all square lightweight' now ?

Don't worry yourself alanwarwic pre orders of the iPhone 6s/6s+ are nearly sold out. The phone will equal the iPhone 6 as the biggest selling mobile phone EVER..

Millions and millions of people will buy them and enjoy them. The Z2 is a low to middle end device from last generation technology. The new next generation ultra high end iPhone 6s is light years ahead.

Indeed, the 1080p screen is typical 2013/2014 tech but the 21MP 4K camera with OIS was groundbreaking.
The Plus has 1080p, 4K recording and OIS too.

So you agree the next generation ultr high end iPhone 6s will sell millions and millions to very satified customers, thank you that's all I wanted to know.

So you do actually like iPhones after all,

I'm interested in the tech, what the masses get is consequential to the interest.
What do you think of revolutionary devices such as the YotaPhone?
And would you like to see a small 4" bulletproof clamshell that also unfolds to a 7" screen?

yotaphone stuck on 4.4 bassically making it faulty out the box due to not being able to run software 5. iPhones run software version 8 with 9 about to be released.

I would like to see that, assuming the 'unfolded' phone was durable. However, I assume there would be no demand for it as phones are not too big now (or so we are told).

It amazes me that, after all these years, some posters simply cannot grasp the idea that people actually like their iPhone, like what it does, like what it offers, and are happy with the price.

There is no need to be so bitter about it.

That is his entire raison d'ętre, without his hatred for anything iPhone he just wouldn't have a life...

What is it with this witch hunt for haters ?

Theres opinions of Samsung, Windows, Google etc but no one there trys to scare the masses shitless into being a yes man. And it is not just here, the single minded hunt for 'Apple haters' is near everywhere on the web.

To be fair you are obsessed with apple , I mean to a point it could be OCD. You literally spend 10 hours a day EVERYDAY slagging off Apple. Then you accuse anyone who disagrees with you of being a mindless fanboy.

To be honest you're probably harmless, an maybe you have something that makes you obsess over trivial things? I'm not sure but it does seem unhealthy. Stating a preference for a certain maker/model of a product is one thing, but spending every single day doing nothing but slagging an electronics company.... It does set off alarm bells to be honest.

Your over reaction above declaring the whole internet is on a witch hunt for Apple haters.. I mean that's quite a statement to make. Some may even say it seems somewhat paranoid, I hope it isn't paranioa, but it is maybe some thing you should question about yourself. Why do you do it? Should you perhaps step away from the Apple obsession for a few weeks?

Go on then, find some screamers going on about Samsung haters or Windows 10 haters.
I post a heck of a lot in the 10 thread. For my 'hate' points I get good arguments in reply.

Its weird man, it often seems that near the first post everywhere rants on about Apple haters.
There is no comparison, though it would be good if they did. How does a consumer choose if they only ever get the hard sell?

You and kidspud are identical, 100% only posting on Apple stuff. Kidspud became 100% dedicated to replying to me, never posting elsewhere or on anything else, never posting any facts, just alluding a heck of a lot.

With there being near zero tech contribution from you either we had best also end there.

Go on then find someone slagging off Samsung or windows phone? It doesn't really happen on here. It's only YOU with the hate for Apple, everyone has their likes and dislikes but you take it to a whole new weird and scarey level.
