I played with Force Touch on the Huawei Mate S, a phone where Huawei clearly hadn't really put much thought into what you could use it for.
Thing is, on a slick onstage demo it looks great but the sensitivity means you need to be quite precise to tell the phone what you're doing - and that will be tricky if you're walking on a street and trying to get the pressure right.
I suspect in the real world it won't be quite as great as it seems. But, at least the OS has support built in so it has a lot of potential to do better than what Huawei has done thus far.
I cant help think that the 'science bit' in these events has no more value than the science bit in shampoo commercials ....throw out some long words and a CGI animation and make it look more spectacular than it really is
Loads of phones have the ability to add audio to a photo (add Huawei and HTC to the list). Then there's the moving image thing on Windows Phone.
At the end of the day, most people just want to take good camera stills. Photos that look good whatever the environment and can be shared as easily as possible.
The iPhone has always done well for stills, and I do think Apple needs to stop trying so hard. It doesn't need to.
Another event where it feels that Apple is responding to what the industry has already done (good or bad) and even the TV advertising seems to be selling to people already doing things, rather than Apple creating and inventing new things for them to do.

Those U.S. prices aren't sim free. You get tied into a 24 month contract on top of that price.

Why post so you look stupid?
If you didn't watch the presentation and can't be bothered to go and check specs then just ask here and people can tell you, rather than just post a little ignorance and a stupid comment.
It's almost like you are just trolling for a reaction .
The new iPhones easily exceeded my expectations. Performance is astounding, once you use the new 3D Touch experience you'll never want to go back, the already great camera is now even better, live photos, vastly improved touch id technology, you can go on and on and on.
The best just got better and I'm definitely upgrading my 6 Plus to one of these new beauties. It's a no brainer.
