So sorry to hear about WD. She was such a lovely FM. Always polite and respectful, while still making her point. I've probably read thousands of comments she wrote about BB and always found her commentary to be thoughtful and informed.

I will miss her. Condolences to her family

Extremely sad new about WonkeyDonkey. We didn't always agree with each other when it came to BB, but she was an amazing forum member and will be missed.

I'm so sad to hear this.

We've spent a lot of time over the years joking and debating, so to hear that we've lost a great long term member of the bb forum family is extremely saddening. Rip Wonkey xxx

Oh my goodness. I just saw this.

Wookey was actually the first person who ever PM'd me years ago.

We had a right few laughs.

RIP Wookey and much love to her family.

Hello everyone. I have asked Wonkey Donkey's daughter for permission to put a link here to a Just Giving page set up in her memory by the family, in aid of the hospice where she was nursed during her last few days. I hope it won't be against the T&Cs of the site.

I know that one or two people wanted to send flowers but maybe a small donation here instead would be very much appreciated. xx

just listened to the updates on the page, thanks for the link .

Tomorrow would have been Wonkey's 59th birthday so I'll bump up the JustGiving pages in case anyone would like to leave a donation in remembrance.

Meadow House Hospice: https://www.justgiving.com/Remembering-CarolineB/

Thanks.

Yes, and every day I see threads that make me think of her and wonder what she'd say.

Thinking of WD and her friends and family today as they meet to celebrate her life. A terrible loss of a special person, but someone who has left many happy memories behind.

The celebration of Caroline's life this afternoon was wonderful. The church was packed, the music and singing were a joy, and there were many poignant and emotional moments. Plus, of course, much laughter, especially from the speech given by Jim, her husband.

I was honoured to be asked to talk about her online life with Digital Spy, so the whole congregation were told about her tribute threads. I quoted a few comments from here too.

It was a pleasure to meet Minkski from the Luke Anderson Appreciation thread, and Trumbles, who came over and introduced himself.

Aww how lovely. I'm glad you all went and were able to represent the many of us who treasured her input on here.

I didn't know she was a fellow DS er until todays' memorial.

Her kindness, gentleness and fairness will not be forgotten.

There's not a chance I can travel that far these days unfortunately. Thankfully the Internet brings us all together. I hope when the family have settled down after the grief we could chat to them about some sort of online memorial page, as several people here have asked for one.
