This is one of the saddest things I've read on a forum!! Only came on to see what is happening in the run up to CBB and saw this!! I've had disagreements with WonkeyDonkey as well as joining arms over various issues in BB/CBB - never knew she was female!! - She will be sorely missed and I pray she is resting in paradise. My condolences to those closest to her.

I too have only just come on here in the run up to CBB and I am so sorry to learn of Wonkey Donkey's passing. A great contributor whose posts were always well thought out and ready for a discussion without insults. Condolences to family and friends, and we have lost a good DS friend. RIP

Yes indeed. Still very much missed.

I don't have any superstitious beliefs so I'm not attaching any significance to this, but I was a bit spooked on Christmas day when the following joke popped out of my cracker:

Q: What do you call a 3 legged donkey?
A: A wonkey

I love that this thread is still pinned and active. It makes Wonkey Donkey such a vibrant and active part of the ongoing BB conversation and her being up there 'at the top' gives a lovely sense of her still, kind of majestically, overseeing it all.

Oh my, that is such sad news.

Rest in peace WD, you will be greatly missed even if you haven't been watching BB much lately and hence not posting so much.

Dare I say it, a DS BB legend?
Legends are fictional...or at best unverified. WD was, is, in every sense, real.

RIP.

Don't you mean "sista"? Her real name was Caroline.

Maybe.

Though I hope if she is still around somewhere she has better things to do than hang around Christmas cracker factories!

Would love to have heard WDs take on last night's events! She'd probably have been really understanding and fair rather than just cruelly laughing like me

Spooky as we were both at her funeral, and I got the same cracker question!

That is a bit spooky.

I wasn't too surprised that someone else from this thread (CLL) had had the same joke, but two out of three from the funeral is a bit of a coincidence. Maybe Barracute is right!
