I just had to go through my PM's as my box was getting full and I needed to delete.

I came across a few from Wonkey Donkey - needless to say I didn't delete. I re read and remembered what a really lovely and caring person she was. She'll long be remembered on here. Glad to see this thread is still alive.
Agreed.

She was a cracking poster indeed.

I disagreed with her on many things, but she was never rude once & I really respected her opinions.

Sadly missed IMHO.

God how I miss Wonkey on here this weekend. I don't know if she would have voted remain or leave. But I do know that she would have approached the aftermath with kindness, wisdom and good sense. Her posting style is sorely missed by me in GD and politics.

Sad to say today is the first anniversary of Wonkey's shock passing. She was the last of my best friends on here (I keep in touch with the others elsewhere) so DS really hasn't been the same without her.

Thanks to everyone who's been keeping this thread updated from time to time and thanks to the mods for making it a well deserved Appreciation Thread.

Still much missed indeed.

I've been trying to dig up more of her threads and posts, but without as much success as I'd like.

I'd forgotten or never knew that she was once a home office matron - as mentioned here.
Mind you, I was also unaware of the existence of lesbian aardvarks at London Zoo.

Anyhow, here is some pure BB geekery :
Housemates you would have liked to have seen without other housemates
People this forum begged not to be chosen
The history of smoking on BB
Post a sentence everyone agrees with
Riddle me Ree, whose VT?
A single post on the the worst possible noise in BB

Incidentally, having recently plonked up a 1400 word post without this being questioned, I am again wondering just what on Earth was in that post which needed splitting.

God how I miss Wonkey on here this weekend. I don't know if she would have voted remain or leave. But I do know that she would have approached the aftermath with kindness, wisdom and good sense. Her posting style is sorely missed by me in GD and politics.
Her voice would definitely have been a plus.

(Pretty sure I can guess which way she would have voted. Frankly I think she'd have voted Remain if she'd have had to headbutt a lion to do so. But this is just supposition.)
