Digital Media Player Advice

Wondering if anybody can share their experiences with these devices.
Thinking of buying one but would like to see if anyone has any pointers.

i asked a similar question about the Goodmans GPDR1 , these things dont seem very popular at the moment

no changed my mind, memory cards can be a pain also i read it takes ages to convert films . decided to get a portable dvd player from argos for £100 and record stuff onto recordable dvd`s plus the portable dvd player has a bigger screen
