Have approx FIFTY pre recorded music cassettes to dispose of.
They won't go in the rubbish bin,
but they will be going to the black hard plastic recycling facilty.
Before I take them to the recycling plant, can any give me some advice of how they ma be re-used

Thanks

Try advertising them on Gumtree. There will be a music nut near you who'll happily take them off your hands.

Put an advert in the local paper or as AcerBen said try Gumtree. If not sell them at a car boot sale. There are plenty of collectors of cassettes who would probably buy them. What artists do you have cassette tapes of?

Don't let kids get hold of those tapes. They will wrap tape around everything in sight my neighbours collection of 200 VHS tapes gave the kids hours of fun and took weeks to clean up

Try advertising them on Freecycle or Freegle.

Glue them together in a cube shape and make a trendy planter or a waste paper bin.

Make one cut in each tape (using scissors) and throw them out with the other rubbish.

Throw them out of the car window at regular intervals, that's what most people seem to do.

I must have hundreds myself. Hard to throw away something you built up and paid for even if it has no use any more.
