She's been ok with her since the fire and working with her?

No idea. Probably just to remind us how 'despised' Carla is by her neighbours in the lead up to TracyLuv's arrest

Suddenly? For months all Alya has done is make snide comments to Carla, while continuing to work for her. She has been blaming Carla for her father's death from the start and the silly girl has been acting like her boss deliberately set fire to her flat and then dragged Kal in there!

No she hasn't.

She told Zeedan soon after the fire that she was playing the long game and the way to really hurt Carla involved her not quitting and staying in the business.

She's also done subtle things to damage the business like make Aidan take a call from a disgruntled supplier rather than take a message assuming he wouldn't cope and it would damage the business.

It seems clear to me her intention was always to destroy Underworld by attacking from within.

There's nothing sudden about her behaviour towards Carla. Alya has just been biding her time and finding out who all the customers and suppliers are. It was her intention all along to try and put Underworld out of business. Now that Tracey has been arrested Alya will maybe stick with Underworld and Carla. I think Rob will make a statement about Tracey along with Carla. It would serve Tracey right, she's such a conniving cow!

I don't think Robert will make a statement about Tracey. He wanted her to confess to Carla so Carla would stop torturing herself, not to put her in Prison.

I think it will be a case of everybody on the Street knowing what has happened but there not being enough evidence for the Police to charge her with anything.

Ah, I've just googled Kate Ford and there's nothing to say she's leaving so you're right KitKat, it looks like she's going to get away with the fire and for breaking in to Carla's flat. Tracey will wriggle out of it

The fire in the end was an accident. They cannot prove otherwise.

Exactly.

Far be it for me to defend Tracy but she did not light the candle intending to commit arson or kill anybody, she wasn't to know that it would cause something else to catch light and arguably, if Carla hadn't been so drunk she'd have woken when Tracy came in, lit the candle and it caught the curtain so was also negligent, especially when taking care of an 11 year old child.

Basically, if they couldn't charge Carla with Arson or Murder, they wouldn't be able to charge Tracy

Trespass and theft of Carla's keys (she didn't actually break and enter) but if Tracy maintains her innocence and Robery doesn't give a statement (Carla doesn't know he knows) then it is one woman's word against another with no physical evidence so the CPS probably wouldn't proceed.

It gave Carla the necessary "excuse" to finally out Tracy.

It might be about not selling the factory, Alya is having to see Aidan around as a reminder that he's bought into it rather than Alya and that might get her goat a bit.

I can't wait to see the clever little cow beg for Carla's forgiveness (and her job back) now she knows the truth. There's no way she'll go to McKnees now given that she'd be off the street all day for work, so she'll need to swallow her pride, and make up for being such a bitch these past few months. I hope Aidan and Carla give her hell.

Sally will revel in her misfortune, and so she should. The way Alya speaks to everyone is disgusting, she needs knocking down a peg or two!

Can't stand Carla, Alya or Tracy, wish they would all leave they are so boring and one dimensional. Watching these three is definitely Groundhog Day + 3.

I hope so too but I get the impression that the writers expect viewers to understand Alya being so spiteful. Carla will probably praise her

There will be so many people that need a slice of humble pie when they find out that it wasn't Carla but Tracey who started the fire.

If I was Carla I wouldn't let Alya back into Underworld.

It shouldn't be up to Alya to decide where she works.
She wanted to leave,so leave.

I wouldn't want to work with her if I was Carla.

Why would she want to go back? sounds like she has got a much better new job than working in that dump.

Ayla will not leave. When was the last time a resident of Coronation Street had a job OUTSIDE of that place, and the kebab shop and chippie round the corner does not count as "outside"

I'm actually not sure that people should feel the need t eat humble pie - they have been reacting to the facts as they knew them. Carla herself had come to believe she was at fault.

Why would they not believe that her alcohol consumption and negligence was at fault when she herself did?

If she'd been protesting her innocence and they had chosen not to believe her that would be different but she hasn't. Why wouldn't they blame the woman who everybody, including the fire Brigade had said was responsible?

Even if Carla had caused the fire she wouldn't deserve the kind of abuse she's had to put up with.

I like to think I'm a fairly kind, understanding and forgiving person but I suspect that I might feel the same if I'd lost a loved one in a fire due to somebody falling asleep drunk with a candle still burning.

Did she do it deliberately, no of course not but Iu don't think any of them are treating her as though she did. They just want her to know how much pain her thoughtlessness has caused. They are suffering, why shouldn't she being the logic.

Personally, I think that's exactly how some of them have been treating her.

The drink driving is very wrong and fair enough if someone has a go at her about that but that's got nothing to do with certain characters acting like she killed Maddie and Kal. Deliberately.
