No it means that they're not massively discounting a handset that'll be unlocked and sold basically.
Hang on, I thought you were with Vodafone now???
Nice set of posts though. I enjoyed reading them with other posters seemingly not knowing your legendary status.
Hahahahahahaha

P.S. Do EE have any 2600 in Plymouth now?? If so, where? So I can be really really sad and go and do a field test and see "band 7" on my iPhone.
If you find this impossible to answer, find me and shoot me......

Is this a genuine post? You are going to flush almost £700 down the toilet to get £100 back to put towards a phone? I still don't get how a phone that looks identical can be "classier" and I don't see how a slightly different force touch makes it a "far superior" phone.

Astounding...
It is 100% genuine mate, I will be using the cash I had saved for holiday spends to pay Apple outright for the iPhone 6s like, having family birthdays and Christmas coming up this is the only chance before Jan 2016 to get the iPhone 6s.

If it didn't have the 3D Force Touch and it was only the camera update that changed I wouldn't bother getting it and I'd keep my iPhone 6 and have a great holiday but looking at how the iPhone 6s works on the Apple website it does make it look far superior and much better than what my stupid iPhone 6 is.

You must be a salesman's wet dream , still don't get how an internal feature can make a phone "look far superior" to another.

I presume you will be buying a 6s in pink gold, just to ensure no one thinks you still have an iPhone 6?

I'm not suggesting anyone shouldn't buy a 6s (if they can afford it) but to throw away £600 spent on a holiday and to decide they have to buy it because the iPhone 6 is suddenly "stupid" and that the inclusion of force touch suddenly makes the 6s "look far superior" is someone who has a problem and probably needs some form of therapy...

I still haven't figured out how a feature built in to a phone makes it look any different .

It's a lovely Sunday morning a day at home away from work, yet you are getting into a state over someone else spending their own money on a mobile phone. An you say he needs therapy? Oh dear ...

You might be new, but you do know what the basic concept of a discussion forum is? Don't you?

And what's Sunday or being at home away from work (even though for many being at home can be the same as being at work) got to do with using a forum? You don't think that using the forum is some sort of work, do you?

Oh dear, what a poor confused little soul....

I understand discussion but telling someone they need "therapy" due to there choice of mobile device is a personal attack, not a discussion. Just relax kid, each to their own.

Guys I think you have misinterpreted OR I haven't made it clear what I meant by "looking" far superior.

What I meant was I know the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s are basically twins in terms of how they look physically BUT it is the iOS that makes the iPhone 6 look so stupid and boring compared to what it looks like on the iPhone 6s with the 3D Force Touch.

TBH I am very two minded about what to do like, I have been looking forward to my holiday until now.

It's nothing to do with choice of phone (I think the 6s looks to be an excellent device), but to allow the acquisition of a mobile phone to totally consume your life (to the extent of cancelling a prepaid holiday and only getting 15% back) is not normal behaviour.

I did suspect the original post might be but I think the second poster is more offended because he thinks I disapprove of the phone being bought (which I don't) .

Having said that (and with a little more consideration), you could be right, maybe it's best to stop feeding...

I'm relieved the holiday cancelling thing is not real. Phew. I was getting ready to give up on humanity.

Now that it's been confimed (by XCode) that the RAM has doubled to 2GB in the 6S/6S+, coupled with the front camera update and 4K video, it was a no brainer for me.. giving the 128GB Space Grey 6 to the missus while I pick up a 128GB Space Grey 6S.

Nah mate It is 100% REAL, as soon as 9am in the morning comes I am on the phone to the manager of the travel agent and confirming the cancellation.

As I have said my holiday was only for 7 DAYS whereas the iPhone 6s will last me 12 MONTHS so the sacrifice of £679 will be well worth it come delivery day of my new iPhone. Ok I fully admit when 19 October comes (day I was due to fly out to Majorca) I will be gutted not to be heading to the airport but hey it will be my birthday and I will look at the iPhone 6s and I will be fine.

The more I have thought about it today and looked at all the videos on Apple's website and YouTube channel the iPhone 6s is a beast of a phone and I literally can't wait to own it, as @ThisGuysGood has said it's MY money I am spending/losing.

UPDATE:

So I rang the travel agent earlier to cancel holiday and WOW as my departure date is only 35 days away my total loss would have been £719.10 and I would have received £79.90 - 10% of the total booking.

Safe to say that I will NOT be cancelling the holiday now and god knows what I'll do about the iPhone 6s now, I hate the thought that I could have to have it another 12 months!!!!

You were only budgeting on around £100 back, so go on your holiday but watch your extra spending, if you can't save that £100+ by Christmas it's probably safe to say you couldn't really afford the phone in the first place. If you can save it up buy the phone in December and you have your phone and had your holiday.

I've pre-ordered the 6S plus but I'd rather go on holiday. I've been to Egypt and Greece this year but I'd take another holiday to Majorca over the 6S plus any day.
