Matsui VCR

Does anybody own a Matsui VCR? If so how long have you had it? I am having trouble connecting a 1998 Model, which I had spare; as my other exactly the same, has got a tape stuck in and is impossible to remove it.Cant understand why this one wont even come up with the menu, and we have connected it exactly the same!

Is it connected by Scart or RF (Aerial cable), if it's connected by RF and it' set to a different output channel you will need to either retune the TV to it, or change the output channel of the VCR to match the other one (there may be a screw on the back to do this)
