He's just a straight forward, straight talking guy. I like him.”

I think he's thick because he has limited intellectual capacity and comprehension skills and a fixed world view that means he's unable to put himself in anothers place.

He's also slow on the uptake. He's thick

Well that's simply your opinion surely? That's really not a fact - I'm afraid I don't see him like that at all - I think he empathises quite well with the others.

I don't believe James is thick from what I've seen so far. However, Stevi seems pretty dense and incapable of holding an intelligent conversation and expressing an opinion ...

I'm not sure if Stevi is genuinely 'dense' or it's just part of his lovable chump act. I never get the impression with Stevi that we're seeing anything genuine from him, it just all feels calculated to me.

But either way, whether it's an act or not, he just seems rather pointless as he doesn't bring anything to the CBB table, apart from his 'relationship' with Chloe Jasmine. He isn't eye candy, he's not especially funny and he doesn't get involved with house politics. Even his other half last night showed some gumption and had a go at Austin when she felt he was laughing at her during her nomination of him ... with Stevi I get the impression you could punch him in the mouth and he'd apologise for his face getting in the way of your fist.

I saw him likened on another thread to Rylan (both X Factor alumni, both the joke act of their respective years, both winning the audience over to last quite a while) but whereas Rylan was amusing and charming and stood up to Speidi, poor Stevi is just 'meh' really.

This isn't the first daft thing he's said. His conversation with Farah last night was pretty hilarious too. He seemed incapable of getting the point that she's not actually interested in getting on with certain people no matter how many times and how many different ways she stated it.

Because he likes to people please he thinks that's everybody's aim. It's like he hasn't spent weeks in the house with her and noticed that obvious fact.

He's was also convinced she'd try it for the prize of being liked by him despite her repeatedly saying she doesn't like him. Not went totally over his head. Whoosh!!!!

How did James expect Chloe to feel about that? What a complete fool James is.

He was basically saying 'you're all right, but we can lose the posh bird.' And Stevi ain't much better, he considered it a compliment.

I have often thought James' one brain cell must be very lonesome in that head of his.”

Yes I agree, James has no tact whatsoever and he's a bit slow on the uptake as is Austin as well. I also think a lot to do with them both voting for the pair and basically blaming Chloe was more to do with Gail's moaning about Chloe just before nominations and telling the others she was done with Chloe for her crying in the garden - says GAIL who constantly crys!

Actually no. Scoop was the person who was practically forcing Farrah and James to speak. James knows she doesn't like him, but Scoop didn't let them leave the room. James ended up saying that everyone should be civil. At the earliest time, James escaped the room to join the others.

Do you think that James would have stayed in that room of his own accord without Scoop trying to urge them to talk?

He said that he wants to involve her, that's it. He's being nice. But he should let it go, she obviously wants to be ostracized from the Brits, so he should leave her get on with the Americans.

If he ignores her, people would call him a bully and that he is leaving her out.

He's the one that tries usually, but last nights feed, he obviously didn't want to bother with her because of the earlier task where the "gloves came off" apparently.

If trying to be nice makes you thick, then so be it. I call Farrah thick for not being able to construct a sentence without saying "dipshit". His vocab is much more extensive than hers.

James with the nomination of Chloe and Stevie was straight and honest, so was Bobby but James masked it in a less hurtful way.

I recall when James argued back with Farrah, he was being called passive aggressive for his "calm" manner. You can't win on Digital Spy if you have a row with a female.

Farrah doesn't deserve to be defended for some of the stuff that has been said to her. I'd say worse if she was being as much of a dick to me as she has been to 90% of the others.

Chloe should have confronted James over that comment. If I was her I would've been very offended.

It comes to something when Janice is more protective than her own boyfriend.

I feel the same way about Chloe and Stevie. Don't get me wrong I don't want Stevie to win, but he'd be much better without Chloe. She brings him down a lot. James said what a lot of people in the house said behind their backs and what a few people on Digital Spy have.

Not too harsh, just honest. Even if it was a little harsh, that will get lost in everyone else's nominations because nearly everyone's nominations were more brutal. Bobby's, Sherrie's, "im nominating you because your American", Austin's noms for Chloe and Stevie, Chloe snapping at Austin, Scoop snapping at Janice, Janice snapping at Scoop, etc...

I think James' honesty got lost in the harsher nominations that were made by the others, so Chloe probably just shrugged it off. She seemed more offended by Austin laughing at her.

Yes, but Stevi should have defended his girlfriend.

Plus it was still tactless of James even if it was speaking his mind.
