This song would be huge if the likes of Rihanna had it

She is Swedish pop princess Zara Larsson. Her other material is worth checking out too

I really liked Uncover from back in 2013 but it wasn't added to UK iTunes until earlier this year when I managed to download the song (after waiting nearly 2 years ) lol

Lush Life is up for pre-order on UK iTunes with a provisional release date of 15th January 2016.

I saw the video to Lush Life on MTV the other morning as part of their MTV Push feature which was cool to see. I reckon this could be a big hit for Zara in early 2016. If it was released now, hardly anyone would buy it as it's getting no airplay so it'd look like it's flopped. The UK charts just don't work like that.

Ah ok I thought it was released in the UK over the past summer
I hope she re-shoots a proper video as the current one is a little cheap and doesn't do the song or herself justice

Thing is, Zara released an official music video for Uncover but I much preferred the more simple one shot video filmed at a recording studio.

Yes, it's top 40 on Spotify which is usually a good sign of a big hit on the horizon.

Once radio stations get on board, and the music channels start playing the video endlessly there will be no escaping Lush Life. That's when the song will be at it's peak in the charts. I suspect this single will definitely climb up the charts to its peak, but I wouldn't rule out Lush Life going to #1 either.

Hang on!

This has had 34M hits. So it is "huge." If hasn't resulted in equally huge actual sales, that's Sony's fault for making YouTube to mp3 downloads of it possible.

She does sound like Rihanna, how many clones do people need?

She sounds exactly like her! If someone had played me the song (not the video) and asked me who sang it I'd have said Rihanna.

Well she can't help the tone of her voice and the fact she sounds like Rihanna is mere coincidence.

Yeah! I bet!

Isn't she Swedish?

Is that her "natural voice?"

Who knows. Rihanna doesn't use her natural voice either.

This is what someone from Barbados sounds like:

Young people can quickly assimilate any sort of accent.
Many British kids started speaking with an upward inflection at the end of sentences, due to "exposure" from "Neighbours and "Home and Away."
It's often down to current influences.

I'd imagine Zara Larsson "has listened to more than Abba."
