I think John wants to beat Vanessa at her own game. If he evicts Steve, Vanessa would be forced to take him to F3 if she doesn´t want to be there with a showmance. Or he could even try to throw Van utb to Austin so that he will also take him to F3 over Vanessa. And evicting Steve gives him also a better chance to win F4 HOH or Pov comp.

If he keeps Steve now he knows Vanessa will evict either Steve or him if she wins F4 veto. She is never ever keeping both of them.

John should do whatever he wants now. I love that Vanessas plans to evict him blew all up in her face.

Yeah I think now he knows Scamper Squad started before his final 2, he knows how close Steve is with Vanessa and wants to break that up. Plus Steve and Vanessa are more of a comp threat together than Austin and Liz.

Thats the problem right there. Are you sure Steve would take John over Vanessa to F3? Because i am not and i watch him on the feeds. 5 min with her alone and he would evict John just because he is afraid. One thing i know for sure is that Van is taking Liz 100% over John or Steve to F3. So Johns only hope is to win HOH or POV and he is not gonna beat Steve in a F4 comp.

Vanessa showed her hand by putting up Steve/John. Now John is practically forced to evict Steve if he wants to make it to F3.

Steve has said numerous times (to himself) that he wants John as his final two, and that he wants Vanessa out before final three. In fact, just last night he said he wants Vanessa out before final three.

Steve's obviously thinking, if he stays, it's Liz/John/Steve/Vanessa at final four, so if John/Steve win the Veto, the obvious target is Vanessa.

I just hope John does what he says (votes out Steve) as there's a good chance that Austin/Liz still take her to final three, whereas nothing she says to John/Steve will make them take her to final three. It's a bad move for John to vote Steve out, but a better move than Austin for Vanessa.

But so is Austin.

Steve's #1 is John.
Austin's #1 is Liz.

Austin goes home it's Liz/Vanessa vs. John/Steve. If John/Steve win Veto, they take out Vanessa and both go to final three, the perfect final three for John because Liz is targeting Steve before John (i.e. she'll take John to final two), and Steve will also take John to final two.

Steve goes home, it's Austin/Liz vs. John vs. Vanessa.
Even if Austin/Liz choose to take John to final three over Vanessa, he then HAS to win the final three HoH or he's third.
If Vanessa wins Veto and takes out Austin, John still has to win as the girls will take each other to final two.

It's all about comp wins now and when you have a #1 willing to take you, you don't evict them. Everyone could really do with a safety net at this stage, and John/Steve have that with each other; if one doesn't win Veto, the other still can.

John's way overthinking this.

John doesn´t trust Steve anymore and i don´t blame him the way Steve behaves. He is always with Vanessa talking game. And he told Vanessa about the "Rockstars" and their sign and because Johns familiy did that in the message she freaked out and wanted him gone. She wanted to get John out this week so of course he thinks she wants him out in F4 too. If Steve is gone Vanessa has to take John or she is going to F3 with a couple. We hear Steve on the feeds telling us that he will take John but John doesn´t know that. How could he.

All he can do is winning HOH or POV and he is not gonna win with Steve there. Steve will beat anyone. Thats where his head is, he wants to get the biggest threat to win F4 comp out. It is logical.

Van pushes Steve to work on Johns vote. Now i am sure she wants Austin out and John next. She is not gonna take John/Steve to F3. And Steve has a much better chance to win F4.

I am torn, i have a bad feeling about keeping Steve in the game. Those 2 have to talk. Steve has to make sure he takes John to F3 over Vanessa if he wins veto.

It is a small thing, but I think Steve may have managed to lose John's trust, last night. John has been asking them all about the name of their alliance. No one would tell him, not even Steve, for fear of Vanessa. 5 minutes after Steve's refusal, Vanessa named the Scamper Squad to him.

John will have noted Steve's refusal to trust him with his safety and his continued dependence on Vanessa.

I think Johnny Mac was telling Liztin last night that his final 2 with Steve wasn't as big as people were making out (which ruined his game and got him evicted) and that Johnny Mac's real final 2 was always Becky.

Steve thinks he has a lock on John's vote so he might not even try that much, where as Austin will be around John 24/7 till tomorrow,

That Vanessa wants to keep Steve so desperately is freaking me out tbh. Is she planning to get John out F4 or what is this about? She should feel save with Austin or Steve, doesn´t matter to her. What is her plan? Does she want to take Liz/Steve? Does anybody even know what she wants?

And why does Steve not talk game to John. No wonder John doesn´t trust him anymore, who would? I really don´t blame him one bit. That whole 5 person alliance and that Steve didn´t tell him about for weeks made him really suspicious. They He knows they are all together since week 2. He must feel like everyone, including Steve is just BSing him.

I want John to make F3, i don´t care about Steve.
