Re-assesing all the current housemates
Bobby. Sneaky, and probably the biggest game player. It wasn’t until the chants of “get Farrah Out” that he actually bothered to take her on. Until then he was happy to take the high road, which actually made him look the better person. Now his true colours have come out I’m not enjoying watching a 50+ man verbally lay into someone young enough to be his daughter. Many people think Farrah was wrong to bring out his affair. But many victims of affairs may feel that if a man cheats he deserves to be called out on it. A decent man wouldn’t have done it in the first place.
James. Is somehow very popular, I can put this down to looks and not much else. Mostly what I’ve seen is a guy complaining in a monotone. I’m waiting to see him entertain me….. Still waiting….. Still waitiZzzzzzzzzzz. His only interesting storylines are is arguments or desperation to bed Farrah and his Bromance with Austin. Take either of these two out of the equation and you have a plank of wood. Gail: Firstly I agree with her assessment of Stevie and Chloe. Can’t be nice to see them eating each others faces when you are separated from your partner and missing them a lot. BB is rather unfair to remove her coping mechanism (cleaning) from her. I can only guess they are trying to make her look the victim, which judging by all the crying she is fulfilling. Probably the best of the brits. Sherrie: As a fan of Benidorm (and Carry on Behind) I liked Sherrie from the start, but she is not seen enough. BB have only really shown her falling over in a garden and not much else. We see her talked about more than seeing her do anything. Only thing I’ve seen is her taking the whole UK Vs USA thing a little too seriously. In danger of being this year’s background lady as with Gillian Taylforth/ Clarie King/ Natalie Cassidy. Natasha: The house bitch; responsible for starting most of the arguments. It was she who started the conflict with Farrah on the launch night by branding her a sore loser, then coming out to taunt her, even after Austin had told her what she was like. She chose to start pouring Jenna’s kosher wine before they (the Americans) got a chance to come out and see what there was available, and if there is an argument she is the first to raise her voice. She also complains about a lack of loyalty from her own team. Though it far more likely they just don’t want to be seen as sidekick to the bitch. Chloe & Stevie: Where do you start!? They’d probably have fared better if they’d have done two separate series than gone in together. Chloe is ridiculously needy and over emotional, while Stevie seems to put up with this as he gets to bang a good looking young bird on a regular basis. I think anyone else would run for the hills. His “this is breaking me up… on the inside” made me laugh. He clearly has no interest in the conjoined straight jacket Chloe will be using for day outs after the wedding. Chloe is very concerned about what people think of them, which begs the question, why go on a reality show where you know your relationship is going to be judged by everyone. Not very bright are they. Farrah: Most of her arguments are retaliations to someone elses behaviour. Rarely have I seen her march up to someone and kick off, unless she is defending someone else (as she did with Bobby, it was because he had upset Jenna). Her friendship with Jenna is probably the most genuine in the house as Farrah does listen to her and quiets down when Jenna tells her, because there is mutual trust and respect there and because they have made an effort with each other. It can’t be nice to be told you are the “most vile”, “least popular” etc. Even though she may have a bit of a potty mouth, Cami-Li was much worse. Whether you like her or not, she absolutely must stay to the end because remove her and you’ll have a very dull show. Much like last summers after Leslie & Frenchy left – the drama went with them and we had two weeks of boredom. Jenna: Probably the smartest and most familiar with how to play big brother. In many ways the perfect housemate as she chooses her conflicts wisely and the ones she can’t be bothered with, she can send Farrah in to do the honours and then step in and calm it down, or add fuel accordingly. As I’ve said despite this tactic, Farrah is willing to do this just as Jenna will stick up for Farrah when necessary. She is wise, had her head firmly screwed on, is prepared to call people out when they are out of line. Would have made a much better president than Scoop. Janice: I disagreed with a lot of things that have come out of her mouth to begin with. Particularly her early conflict with Austin about gay rights and how he should not be saying anything bad about America. It was as though she was denying him critical thought. If America is so great perhaps someone should ask her about the police brutality, gun crime in schools and government controlling the media. Don’t get me wrong I love America and there are plenty of things wrong with the UK also but she seems to be in her own world and unaware of the greater issues that others acknowledge. Despite a shaky start I’ve come to find her the most entertaining housemate because she is Nikki Graham in 20 years time. The faces she pulled during face to face nominations were the highlight of the show so far. Move over Kenneth Williams. Scoop: Oh dear, he was a really bad president wasn’t he. A good one would have listened to the people and made decisions accordingly. He seemed to just wanna give speeches and leave everyone to sup it up. One thing I will say is he refuses to take sides and have conflict. When people were not talking or having anything to do with Farrah he refused to participate in this behaviour, which makes him a better person than the likes of Natasha and James. Austin. Keep changing my mind about him. He seemed to be a bit of a git to begin with, shit stirring, starting arguments for the sake of them, singling out Farrah and lighting the torch for Natasha to be a bitch. Though recently he seems to be turning it around with his friendship with James and his statement to Gail. Whether this is all a show or genuine remains to be seen but the jury is still out. I find him difficult to watch with those farmers sideburns. I know he lives in Yorkshire but this is ridiculous. Your views? |

Jenna is not that smart. She picked a bad alliance with satanic farah and now she looks like a loon going on and on and on about bringing it to natasha because of the way she is supposedly looking at her. She is an idiot.

I agree with a lot of the OP.
Biggest re-assessment down has been Natasha. She's a snake. Austin and Bobby too. The only person I've re-assessed up is Janice. She had a rocky start but she's recovered. |

I agree with most of your points bar natasha, farrah and Jenna!
Natasha, is one to stand up for herself but I do feel she brings a lot of it on herself. The whole wine issue is getting beyond ridiculous. I do believe that jenna should be willing to share but I feel natasha is the one who let's herself down the most round this issue. Farrah, has major issues! She seems to feel like she's entitled in life and that she has to explain why she's right in her words when anyone calls her out on stuff she does. She's also easily manipulated which is sad. Jenna: has been my biggest disappointment. At the beginning in really liked her, I thought she'd be a great housemate! As time has went on she's been so consumed with 'the game' she's not seeing what she's doing. She is like a puppeteer, winding up farrah and then letting her go and stepping back to deal with the fall out, usually at farrah's detriment. She also doesn't seem to get the whole nomination part of bb. She's appalled to be nominated when it's part of the game she keeps going on about. After weeks of liking her I find myself the last few nights watching thinking she's the one most consumed in the game and is prime manipulator in that house! I really wish farrah and Jenna had been separated in this task would have made for an entirely different dynamic for the next 2 weeks! |

Gail I find pleasant...sometimes, but certainly not cheerful. She's ok when she doesn't go into victim mode. |

I'm not getting Bobby as entertaining. I still find him loathsome.
With regards to Farrah's narcissism I think this came from her being called 'least popular' and 'most vile' and she responded by saying "I know I am awesome". But I have a feeling this love thyself attitude has come out of her therapy as she had low self esteem after everything she has been through. So not so much narsisism as a defence mechanism. Not excusing her but understanding her a bit more than many are prepared to. |

Chloe and Stevi - tedious in the extreme as a couple, likeable enough as individuals.
Austin - HUGELY overrated on here. Stirs things up more than anyone in the house and is very false, yet somehow gets away with it. Janice - Mad as Hell ![]() James - Nice enough guy. Won me over. Sherrie - Sweet and caring. Scoop - Genuine if slightly overbearing. Gail - Nice but slightly depressing. Jenna - Unintentionally hilarious ![]() Natasha - Tough girl with a good heart. Bobby - Playing up to the cameras a bit - trying to be Jim Davidson 2.0. Farrah - next..................................... |
