Yamaha V377 and Wii
Hi all,
Can any of you clever ppl help pls? Ive got a Wii (old style) connected to Yamaha V377 into an AV in. The Yamaha is connected to TV with HDMI ARC out. When I switch the Wii on,I get sound through Yamaha but no audio/video through TV. What am I doing wrong pls (and sorry if I'm being dim.) Thx Pete |

The 377 doesn't cross-convert/up-convert from the Wii analogue connections (yellow red white) to digital out on HDMI. You need to either connect the yellow video connection direct to the TV (so TV for picture, 377 for sound) or connect another single phono lead from the video out on the 377 (yellow phono socket) to the video in on the TV (yellow phono socket). Remember to select the video input on the TV when watching the Wii
