I hope you both get on well with it. It's one of the simplest yet most effective products I've used, and is multipurpose.
Mine arrived the other day It's a bit early to tell how it's working as a cleanser as I've only tried that regime once so far. I haven't had any luck with using it on 'to heal' unfortunately - I have a long scratch on my hand (from a cat!) which is healing but taking time. I applied the balm to it a few times and it seemed to make it worse (it got continuously redder and more painful) and eventually it began stinging and itching quite badly and I had to wash it off. I don't know if I am somehow 'allergic' to it though I have applied it elsewhere and it seems to be fine. Bit disappointed about the healing side, but hopefully it will work as a cleanser

I use tap water. Never had a spot or blackhead in my life.
I do too. A rinse with warm tap water in the morning and a rub with a towel. In the evening I use hottish water on a face cloth pressed to my skin to soften and dissolve the make up, then wash with a mild cleanser and rinse well. If I haven't worn make up I just rinse as per the morning.

I never have spots but blackheads/enlarged pores appeared around my nose area in my early teens and nothing shifted them. Even if I get the blackhead out I am left with an enlarged pore so I learned to accept them.
