Easterners-atrocious acting tonight
Couldn't believe what I was watching tonight. Allegedly Kathy's big return.
The airport scene was just atrocious-apart from the hackneyed set up the acting was just tERRIBLE esp from Paul Nicholas ( he looked like some random picked up off the street not a professional actor) Samantha Womack wasn't great either, frankly she looks kinda bored nowadays. I'm not a big fan of Steve McFaden but he certainly made all the effort in tonight's scenes. Back on the square the ladies were much better-esp Jane who has been fantastic all this week & certainly trumps any of this "Kathy come home" crap we've had to put up with. |

Quite possibly the worst written episode of Eastenders I've ever seen. Actors could only do so much with such a poor script.

I thought the acting was fine. It's only a TV show. Idc if it's a bit unrealistic, as long as I enjoy it. It's not exactly Hollyoaks levels.

Steve and Sam were fine, I don't think Leticia did anything wrong, but Gillian and the Gavin actor really weren't great.

I don't know about anyone else but I was a tad disappointed that SuperPhil didn't jump on the plane as it was taking off a la Tom Cruise.

Ronnie was meant to be bored. That's the storyline!!
I acting was decent tonight. I don't watch EE to see actors pick up Oscars. |

I dunno about Easterners but I thought EastEnders was great tonight!
Kathy faked her death because her kids were in danger. Good reason. The writing was good too. Rob Gittins has been writing EastEnders since 1986 he knows the show through and through. Had no problem with the acting either. MORE KATHY PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

![]() Although I looked Michael saying joey was like a monkey in shoes ![]() Michael was a diamond in a sea of shit. In hindsight I'm sorry I gave up watching for a while because it meant missing a lot of him.

Apart from the scene when Phil grabbed Gavin's arm in the park and Gavin's facial reactions were completely over the top I actually thought Paul Nicholas' acting was pretty good. I could understand Kathy being scared of Gavin. Tonight's episode wasn't fantastic by any means but I thought it was perfectly fine and so was the acting |

It was ok. I didn't really get what was going on. Why were they in the plane? My parents kept talking the whole way through which really didn't help. I was slightly disappointed because this was supposed to be a key episode of Kathy's return and it wasn't so great.
